Breaking Red Corrado G60 former show car.
WreckedGecko replied to G60MAT's topic in Cars for Breaking
I know the interior is gone but have you still got the headlining? Whats it like? Also, I assume the roof gutter trims have gone, but just in case... -
I will second that. Now that the mechanicals are sort of working, I am keen to get the cosmetics sorted, so this is fairly high on the list!

Hi All, Been having a bit of a long running problem with my Mk4 R32 engined VR6, so I though I would ask this in here in case anybody else has run into this or has any good ideas. It runs fine, pulls well, idles a little low when cold but not drastically so. However, in 2nd gear (and only in 2nd gear) when under full load it stutters at about 3,000 rpm and again at about 5,000. Its been into a few indys who don't seem to be able to cure it, not helped by the lack of fault codes its throwing up. MAF has been changed, throttle body cleaned, new coil packs, etc etc. I am thinking that it has to be some sort of ECU issue (currently running a standard Mk4 R32 one) but not being an expert I have no clue what and why it would only effect 2nd. I also want to get the throttle position sensor altered, as 10% pedal depression = 90%ish throttle which can be a bit tiring, so a bit of ECU work is not the end of the world, but just before I book it in for some rolling road time and a remap, has anyone got any other ideas? Also, any recomendations for a good rolling road place? Cheers!

Cheers for that, yeah the passanger side looks a little beaten, the drivers looks ok. Whats the rust like? :) Build is going ok ta, R32 lump is in and running, so just got to sort the brakes out and shove the rear beam on and it will be rolling. There is a boat load more to do to get it finished but at least at that point I can drive it, rather then trailer it everywhere!

I will be getting rid of my seats soon if you are still looking. I will let you have them cheap too.

NEW CORRADO FORUM INSURANCE SCHEME VIA CHRIS KNOTT INSURANCE
WreckedGecko replied to ChrisKnottIns's topic in Insurance
Right so no mods that increase BHP by more then 20... what if you have a standard R32 engine in your bay? No mods on it, but its definatly more then a 20bhp increase on the standard engine? Genuinely interested. Although given its parked on the street I could be barking up the wrong tree anyway... -
Anyone have a Miltek on their mk4 4Motion?

Lovely blue valver in Sainsburys car park off Ladbroke Grove. Nice chat with the owner in the pouring rain! If you are on here, I will send you a text later!

That would do me. Its not asking for much is it. RB5 (and Integra DC2) was on my shortlist prior to getting the Corrado, but it was still fletching strong money then so I got the Corrado instead. :D  Wasn't there one of those Corrado inspirational posters saying something like, "Corrado Owners; Hiding 'teg type R reviews since 1995." Or something... They are both real greats, were it not for the tendancy of the chavs round my way to swing off the back of spoliers I might well have bought an RB5 instead of the 'Rado (shameful as that is to admit.)

Thats a nice one, like the carbon. All my mates have OMP wheels and love em, but I have always prefered Sparco jobs.
