  1. Dude vr6 - I'll try and get pics up on Saturday, they're currently at my mum and dads house. Riley - I've seen you around and I'm loving your air install. The looms and switches aren't included as my new seats are heated so I've re-used them.
  2. Hi, do you have the square retaining clips for the fuse box cover and also the screw covers for the speedo surround?
  3. Hi, I have replaced my front seats with some tombstones so I need to sell my original seats. They are in excellent condition and fully working-both bases and backs heat and they move as they should, the leather is in great condition (my car has only covered 85k) and all bolsters are firm. In the last 3 years/32k (my ownership) they have been regularly cleaned and treated using either gliptone or furniture clinic products. Now for the bad point: the previous owner used the car to advertise his vw car sales company "dubbers" and in addition to window stickers he had the company logo embroidered by MJ interiors onto the seat back centre panels. I have dyed the stitching black to hide it and it isn't that noticeable now. I'm looking for £200 collected from Burnley, Lancashire. Picture 1: Drivers seat. Picture 2: Passengers seat. Picture 3: Embroidered logo.
  4. I have used tamiya before and it works really well, it's quite a resilient paint as it's designed for radio control cars. They do a translucent orange.
  5. Is the decat still available? If so how much will it be including postage?
  6. Does anybody know I the door and boot seals are still available?
  7. Would you take £750 including bracket and delivery to uk?
  8. I would be interested so long as the wires are as fine as the ones found on newer cars-it's the only thing that I miss about my old focus.
  9. I've only bled the calipers, I didn't realise there were bleed nipples on the abs and mc. Are they easy to spot on the units?
  10. Hi, I have upgraded all of my brakes at the wheel end of the system (calipers, discs, pads & braided hoses) and I have done a full fluid change and thoroughly bled the brakes. The brakes are much more efficient in slowing/stopping the car but I was hoping for some improvement in the feel of the brake pedal, ie a reduction in movement to initiate the braking. Does anybody know how I can improve this? And also is it an easy and cheap thing to do?
  11. Stonejag; I never thought about that, thinking back I did go pretty mad with the woodscrews so this could be an issue-maybe it will be more expensive to return to standardish than I thought. Dumptyboy; they look really good as they don't look too different to standard which is the reason I am wanting to change. The audioscapes sound great and look good (just very after market in my eyes) and I haven't had any issues getting in and out-but I don't park in tight spaces.
  12. Thanks for the link, I think I've seen those before and probably what made me think it can be done but looking again I think I'd rather try the 5.25"s out.
  13. Thanks bristolbacon, I'm not actually selling them yet as I won't have time time remove them and I haven't bought the replacement speakers yet, just looking for an idea of how much I can recoup on the change. At the moment I have infinity 6.5" components fitted in the audioscapes and my plan is to buy the same but in 5.25" to fit the standard pods but how much work would be involved in making my 6.5" speakers fit neatly. As mentioned in my initial post I am thinking of having the pods trimmed anyway so fibreglassing/filtering isn't an issue. I'm just wanting a more standard look but love the way my current setup sounds - when I'm not listening to the engine that is ;-)
  14. As title; I have a set of audioscape door pods in black leatherette finish fitted to my C but want to put the standard pods back on (maybe trimmed to match the door cards) with upgraded components. So I'm wondering how much they're worth, I can't remember how much I paid 2 years ago but I know they weren't cheap! Condition wise they are in good used condition with a little bit of wrinkling on the leatherette but I can probably re-glue that once I've removed them from the car. Thanks in advance.
  15. My drivers door glass has started rattling so I would be interested in 4 rollers so I can replace them in both doors.
  16. Just collected mine from the local sorting office, looks a quality item and I look forward to fitting it. Thanks Dave.
  17. Thanks Jay, that sounds pretty do-able. One question though, will this make them sit higher than the standard seats?
  18. Hi, I am looking at buying some boxster front seats for my c and was wondering how much work is required to fit them. I've done a few searches on here but haven't really found what I'm looking for. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers Matt
  19. Hi Dave, I'm interested in one. My current shifter is shortened by simply being cut off below the threaded section to reduce the throw, would you still want this in return for one of your kits as it modified?
  20. Hi guys, I've managed to get some HEL lines for £50, still haven't had a reply from Bill at Badger 5. Also it seems I need a 28mm thick disc so as far as I can make out my only option is Leon Cupra R discs. Thanks for your help
  21. Hi, I have for sale a brand new pair of brake hoses as in the title. They are in the original packaging and are ready to be used in a conversion to either 288mm or 312mm calipers which require a banjo fitting. £25 plus £2.50 postage
