  1. Hopefully you're referring to when my wife was driving ;-) Sorry, only just seen this thread. It's mine, owned it for nearly 5 years now.
  2. What glue have you tried? I redid all the edges of mine with evo-stick impact adhesive (comes in a red tin) and it worked brilliantly.
  3. Handbrake plastic trim recovered in alcantara Ive done the mk4 golf handbrake swap so I'm now selling my plastic handbrake trim has been recovered in black alcantara. There are no splits or cracks in the plastic, a couple of wrinkles in the material which can be seen in the photo-not at all noticeable once installed. List Date: 6/4/2014 For more info, click here to view the original listing: Handbrake plastic trim recovered in alcantara -------------------------------------- SOLD -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: Handbrake plastic trim recovered in alcantara Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!
  4. I have one in very good condition along with the plastic cover (retrimmed in black alcantara) pm me if you're interested. I've just fitted a mk4 anniversary one and haven't got round to figuring out how to list an item for sale using panjo yet.
  5. Lilfuzzer - I'll take yours if carrots is sorted. Assuming the clips are intact.
  6. I tried a few different sunvisors but didn't find any that fit. Saying that though you could probably make them fit by tweaking the headlining cutouts which would then be covered with the new material. Oh Porsche 924 sunvisor clips are black and are a perfect replacement for the standard corrado ones.
  7. I have a black headlining that I did last year. I re trimmed the headliner, sunroof panel, strip at the top of the windscreen and the light surround in black alcantara (which was very easy to work with). I sprayed my sunvisors with some special vinyl spray that I bought from halfords which is a nice finish and doesn't scratch. I dyed my sunroof seal with dye from furniture clinic and it has maintained it's original feel.
  8. I'm still interested in one with red outer rings and blue/red centre ring if you can. Pm me payment details. Thanks
  9. I've been wondering this recently too. They look the same from pictures I've seen. I bid on one but it went for more than I was willing to pay.
  10. Are you willing to sell the vr6 badge on it's own?
  11. Thanks for the comments guys. It's a pioneer F930bt. I like it so far (only had this head unit for about a year) it's really easy to use and the nav works well too.
  12. Here you go... I used a connects 2 (I think) double din fitting kit/surround for a mk4 golf. I was going to smooth it into the dash but the finish on the surround matches the heater control panel.
  13. You should be ok with the cables. Mine have worked faultlessly for the past 5 years with a double din setup. Although I don't have the cup holders but the extra downwards movement shouldn't make much of a difference. Just make sure they have a nice smooth route and aren't tangled in wiring harnesses.
  14. I'm currently looking to get vibratchnics mounts so would be interested in these inserts if a second batch is going ahead.
  15. Fixed it this weekend. It was air leaking. I had put one the schrick gaskets back on the wrong way round. It must have been a small gap to make such a noise but all fixed now :-)
  16. Outer dials = red Centre dial = blue and red Thanks Matt
  17. I've not checked the water pump yet. It only continues for a second or so and fades to silence.
  18. It's coil pack obd1 with a schrick manifold. The idle is pretty much perfect now though-fixed one problem and created another it seems.
  19. Thanks guys, I'll give that a try tomorrow. I hadn't thought of that as I haven't touched it and the noise sounds electronic (if that makes sense?) but I guess it could be dry bearings. I forgot to say in my original post that when I turn off the engine the noise fades to silence after a second or so. Does this sound like the aux belt/tensioner?
  20. Recently I've had a bit of a rough idle and its tried to stall on me a couple of times so this evening I thought I'd give the isv, throttle body and intake elbow a clean (coil, leads and plugs were replaced less than 10k ago so I'd ruled these out as a cause for the rough idle). Now it is all back together I started it up and after a few minutes the idle settled nicely. I went for a short drive to see the difference made and it runs really well but when I got back home a high pitched noise was coming from the engine, it seems to be coming from the throttle body but I'm not certain as there's a few things in that area. Does anybody have any ideas what the noise could be?
  21. I'm interested in a kit with red outer dials.
