hi all i have just seen on the raceland website that you can buy lowering springs for a vr6 for around £70. does anyone have any experience of these and can they be used with my standard dampers(these seem to be ok). i have a raceland adjustable kit on my mk2 golf gti and have been more than impressed with. any thoughts would be appreciated :lol:

woah you are getting stung on your insurance! im 23 with 4 years ncd and only pay £900 fully comp on my vr6! thats with HIC too :shock: Then again i do live on the isle of wight where its very hard to get a stolen car off it undetected! welcome to the board mate, i love that colour :)

i was used to it from the start. my first car was a 2 litre vw bay camper. in 12 months the engine was rebuilt 3 times. 2 recon gearboxes fitted (not together!) then there was the repair work for the mot's!! it was on the road for about 3 months each year. it was fun though and great for s****** in :twisted: and i still sold it for more than i paid for it! *****please remember that there could be younger people reading this :wink:*****

it sounds like a squeaky fan belt but im not sure this can be the case. it seemed to stop when the engine had been worked hard and got a bit hot. Any suggestions lads and ladies? :?: :? its a vr6 btw

have you fitted a surround to stop hot air getting to it? You reckon its worth splashing out on then? ta 8)

I just spoke to a bloke at C & R enterprises and he reckons a 57i is the one to go for. I dont want to spend loads on one (i could cope with the cost of the 57i) or would it be better to not bother and stick to the standard airbox set up. Thanks in advance :)

well that all went wrong, i rang him this morning to check he still had it and he said yes. I made an appointment to see mr bank manager (not his real name) and sorted a 5k loan. i phone the bloke to say id have it and it turns out someone bought it whilst i was in the bank. :cry: anyone know any clean vr6's on the south coast for either side of £4k? i need the rest for insurance and/or a cat1 alarm if need be. raaa :twisted:

nasser hussain (SPELLING?) had a vr6 storm in met purple which he owned form new. Now residing on my mate sheila's driveway here on the island. it has schrick everything too, i nearly followed through when she took me out in it :oops:
