    good evening,can anybody put a name to the green dog leg(for a better word)which lights up the heater controls!are they still available from dealers or has any body got one i could purchase.cheers

    removed my cc when fitting bmc cda (ideal place for cold air feed to go) she did not like it at low revs around town ,drove great at full chat! re located cc in the space directly under where maf sits ,bolted to plastic arch liner ,used perforated strip to secure to liner(bolt hole already there) two pipes sit nicely under cold air feed out of sight (GOOD JOB DONE) car now runs as sweet as before but with added grunt .

    vredestein do a range called wintrac extreme in low profile sizes.try tyretraders or search online for your local dealer.i know during the last cold snap stocks ran out pretty quick (panic buying )as well as the importers not shipping enough into country because of no previous demand. same old britain wait till the horse has bolted then act!!!!

    went on a tyre test to austria courtesy of vredestein.they used two identical golfs one fitted with summers the other with winters.the results had to be seen to be believed,thats why i fit winters from november to april theres no competition.(you can get winters in 40 +45 series so no real need to have winter wheels)

    took cici out last night now seems to be erractic around town.tried what phat boy suggested again this time she ran with maf unplugged!no signs of any split hoses,could maf be us!anybody got ideas!!!cheers

    hiya,first post so please be understanding!purchased first vr6 about a year ago after working way through vw range to the summit(hope saying right things here).she's aqua blue sitting on 17"SSW mesh 2(will post pics soon).anyway ,probelm is fitted BMC CDA at weekend ,removed cc.she pulls like a train when cold but when warm loses top end power !!! any ideas thanks
