Took it all apart yesterday and we found that there is a black box that should be full of foam but it only had a small bit init, that might be something to do with it. She ticks over now but will cut out sometimes when changing gears?? Has anyone else had this and could help me please?? Thanks Johnny

Is the VR6 stitched on or printed on mate??

Hi guys I'm having trouble with my VR ticking over and we are putting it on Vagcom tomorrow. Does anyone know if there is an adaption or basic setting number for the throttle position?? And does anyone know a good air mass reading figure?? It all started when it wouldnt tick over when cold and missed abit at low revs so we thought we would give everything a clean throttle body, MAF ect and after putting it all back together it wont tick over at all now, If anyone could help that would be great. Is it the same for the VR6?? I'm having the same prob with my VR, In the morning you would need to keep the rev to about 1k or it will cut out but when warm it would be ok. But now it wont tick over at all, think it has something to do with the idle control not opening fully, Some help here would be great? Thanks Johnny

I opened the MAF up today and gave it a clean with some cleaner and used a cotton bud. There was no misfire after so i hope it's worked, Will find out on my way to work in the morning

I would say about £450ish but I don't really know how much wheels are worth. Shame they aren't 5 stud cause I like them, they look really cool

Hi Stone, I gave it a go this morning and think it's helped so it must be the MAF. I'm going to take it out and give it a clean tomorrow and hope it does the job. Thanks for your help bud Johnny

I'm having the same problem but i've got a new coil pack and new plugs and just changed the leads to 2nd hand ones but was told they arent very old and are in very good con. Could it be the MAF or the Throttle Body needs cleaning or the dizzy cap?? Its doing my head in now. Its got a cold start prob where i need to give it a lilttle rev for about 1 min and then it will tick over and then it has a small missfire at low revs. Can anyone help me with this?? Well Thank you guys for all your help cause I've fixed it today. This is what I did:- a) Disconnected battery for 1 hour. b) Turn Ignition ON. c) Reconnect battery. d) Turn ignition OFF. e) Press remote control for 10 seconds. Worked first time for me. Thanks again guys. Johnny

Been outside with the tape to see how big I can go and it looks like I can build a 6x4m garage. Should be a nice size to put the C in. Just need to put in for planning now

I'm in plans to knock my old prefab garage down and build a nice new bigger one. What the sizes youve gone for in your garage Renswaw?? Dont know how big to go, cant go to big but want to walk around the corrado.
