  1. need some advice guys , iv just replaced the passenger side lower arm bushes tonight with powerflex ones managed to do this all with little fuss but the antiroll bar bush was that corraded it snapped almost instantly! the bolt that goes straight through was literaly half its normal width in the middle and you could see the twist in it where i had tried to remove it , i just want to know whats the best new bush to go for , would it be standard corrado part , is there any tt or r32 ones that work or shall i just powerflex these asweal any advice guys im not great with wat parts for what and all that cheers

  4. what im saying is that wood can withstand alot of weight being put on it like .... a train , maybe you should stick with metal tripods personally i would use the wooden ramps , id just make sure the hand brake was on before i started work or is there a problem with this method asweal!!
  5. just fitted the new grill i bought on impulse from ebay managed to colour code it yesterday not sure if i like it tbh its a bit marmite i think all comments welcome im sure most will dislike it also while im here managed to get it through mot wich i was really happy about , it got a few advisorys tho cough cough ...... windscreen wipers lol and a tailgate bulb and worn front wishbone bushes but i already have the powerflex bushes to go in just got to get them done in the next few weeks and finally got the drivers door lock sorted after it decided to lock shut lol it was a pain in the arse to get open but got there in the end and now have a nice opening and shutting door again , so no more starsky and hutch type entrys and exits haha anyway thats all for now here is the new grill anyway
  6. i think the wooden ramps are a great idea and you could also make two for the back just lower than the body of the car to give the back a little raise and level aswell at the end of the day if trains can use beams of wood to run rails on and house roofs can can hold all the weight of all the tiles on im sure it can hold the weight of a little corrado

  11. i didnt realise how cheap the tt bushes where i was going to got for the r32 bushes but instead decide to powerflex them i know some people dislike this as the ride is compromised but i know they last longer and to be honest the rides bumpy compared to the norm car anyway i didnt really think of getting new arms as surley they will be ok ie not bent as they are solid steel so being no show car decided to just replace the bushes , i got them for 65 quid delivered and that consists of two bushes for either side arm i soked the bolts in dw40 the other day when iwas sorting the brake lines out for mot so there probs as good now to get off than before i think if they are an hour a side ill give it a go if worst comes to worst ill just run away and leave it on my dads drive haha

  24. I thaught this !! Had an old standard system wich was knackerd so got dg auto tech to fit a stainless jetex exhaust nd im still having problems with it . Iv replaced every metal and rubber hanger and its still not right even had the whole system off again and refitted it On the way back from elescar yesterday its started knocking on tue rear beam again pr on a heat shield My point is its a good system but still a pain in the arse and it still needs messing with so weather a good or bad system i think its hard to get it right with the corrado
