Forgot to add i have a loom for sale thats four pin it has a controll switch but you would have to find the relays for it

Hi mate iv had this problem still havent got it sorted but im almost certain that early cars had a four plug connector on the loom and late cars have a six pin connector you will see what i mean if u have a look under the seat

Could be worth checking the anti roll bars maybe if its hapening when going higher speeds surley round corners there under alot more pressure ??? Maybe worth a look to rule it out

Saying that swiftkid do you know any one in our area who does arches ?? Should of met up at the ketch but i totally forgot mate will have to do a local meet some time !! Im not to bothered about the paint cracking as im thinking of vinyle wrapping the car any ways so can just smooth them and laquer them up

So either way ill get it sorted but i must say its looking damn wide from the back lol just hope that i can ge it a bit lower Does anyone have an idea how much id be paying to get all for arches rolled ???

Having to write part messages here so bare with ! Iv just put it up high for now so no scrubbing at all until i can haveva word with my mechanic about a bit of camber for clearence and i also have a guys number about pulling the arches

Right ill explain my situation first ! Im a sign fitter by trade and have the ability to do veichle wraps and quite well to , the other day my sunroof started pouring in water so i coverd the seal with a 40 mill bit of clear vinyle but i didnt like it so pulled it off wich of course pulled the laquer off my roof lol So im gonna wrap it in carbon fibre vinyle and was wondering what the reiger spoiler would look like carrying on in carbon to finish it off Im not a massive fan of the side skirts and bumper kits but think justva spoiler could possibly look nice with a difference Any pics of anything like this would be a help as i just wanna know wat it may look like if idecide to do it Cheers guys

Yep thats how me and my dad did it im sure its the timing thats on the other end of the dizzy cap closest the engine ! The last lad who ha the car advanced the timing to try make it quiker but doing that made mine missfire every five seconds or so Its really simple to do just one bolt and then turn it with mine you could hear it stop missing and sounding much healthier! Have a look and if ya cant do it il post up a pic , mine ok now dave at dg auto tech said i had got it spotnon with the dizzy being at 8 degrese i think

Cool the paint looks clean as it is so should be a minter and i have a jetex also the two box non resonated system it sounds great tbh i didnt want too loud but putting my foot down wanted nice sound and its perfect ! On the mway u can berly hear it , one thing i would do tho is change all hangers and rubbers for brand new when if you get it done mines gotta come of again because of the center hanger wich is a pain

i had a few problems like this a few weeks ago i replaced the dizzy and rotor arm and chacked all the leads one of them had been rubbing on something so i taped it up til i could get new ones also before my trip to dg autotech i had a play with the timing just loosen the bolt and with the engin running slowly slowly turn it on mine you could hear it running much nice and not as rough ! one more thing i found was that my lambda sensor was getting damp after jetwashing it in garage underneath to get the winter salt off and broke down .... it had come of its clip and was hanging down and collecting water wich in return was making it run sloppy . not much but my contribution dont worry nobody replies to my questions that often lol just get out and try it ya self

bit more info for this the sunroof im looking at is from a 1996 saloon b5 and is pre facelift (1996-2000) if thats any help

Please can anyone tell me the correct passat sunroof that will fit in my 2ltr 16 v Mines broken and now the seal has started leaking so im gonna have to get a new one ! Im watching a 1996 one at the mo on ebay would this fit ? And finally would i need the motor with it or will mine fit it as it still works Cheers

so iv been to dg autotech weekend just gone to get a full jetex exhaust system wich im really happy with just got to get they new hangers fitted as dave told me it was a right mix and match under there !! i thaught id go to the stealers to get them as they wouldnt be to expensive and for the two middle silencer hangers it was 3.50 each but for the two rear silencers hangers it was 18.50 each lol so i opted for some euro carparts ones instead for 2.50 just have to get them fitted also had the chip for the 16v whilst there and i have to admit it feels alot better much more responsive when putting your foot down and now actually feels quite quick when you go for it , its definatly not as jerky and lumpy thats for shure il stick a few pics of the jetex when i have a chance without using the poo i phone
