thats about it for now i fitted a few bits and pieces the other day front pads and new injectors and a pas belt , i would have been able to do the back pads asweal but the passenger side is weeping ever so slightly from the piston seal so gonna get a new one ordered soon hopefully other than that im looking forward to going dow to dg auto this weekend to get my jetex exhaust fitted and the car chipped and set up properly should be more to come soon ill have forgotten something :?

headlining was retrimmed by me and a mate one night after work as i couldnt get it clean enough or find a good nick one so got some matariel and advice of lilfuzzer after meeting him at ccgb meet in the summer stripped the old cloth off and bought new from dunelm its like fake leather but you cant tell seeing as tho its above your head i also stripped the interior light and cleaned it all up then sprayed it satin black as i didnt have the money for new black ones theres a few pics mid stages and complete with all the sunvisors in and everthing i thaught it came out well and still now its not sagged or anything and the black spray is still all good its actually hard to scratch it wich is a bonus

next after that i managed to get hold of a storm cream interior i havent got many pics of this tbh its been to dark but i will get some up , it took two days to do and that was everything out and back in even the carpets came out and swapped for a nice good nic black one that got shampood and condtioned befor i put it in this is the only pic i have at the mo sorry guys and gals

right so after a year nearly i thaught i could do to start doing this thread again now a bit has happend so here goes and be patient lol my speeling is worse than a childs sometimes haha! first things i did last year was buy some new wheels and got hold of some keskin kt1's in need of a refurb but i ran these up until christmas until i could take them off then i put my old black ones on that i now hate with a passion for some reason . when i broke of for christmas on the 21st i started them and i finished them two nights ago lol so quite a while but i wasnt doing them every night did the dishes first ...... sand sand sand sand flat flat wet and dry wet and dry polish polish polish rub down and primer top coat and 2k laquer x4 and finally done . so they now look alot better than when i started

Redborbet - out of interest can you give a rough idea of cost to copy the poster and print on quality paper? It is 12 x 17 inches. No digital copy held, just good old printed paper. Thanks Iv had a word with the guy this morning and for the a3 posters would be a tenner each but if i had a word with him for say 10 he may drop tje price of them a tad As for not having a copy of this on a cd or email if you was to send me a picture through the post i would have to get it scanned and im not sure how much this would cost not much i would have thought A3 canvasses of any print you want would be about 35 quid posted and an email with the pic in would be fine as long as the file is of good quality let me know if you want any more sizes quoting Ill also drop in here that we do banners and stuff asweal so if needed i could possibly help you out to save a bit of money in the future Cheers any questions just give us a shout

I can get prices posted up on monday when i am back at work i cant see it being that much tbh and i would not worry about copying the pic whos gonna no there not just origionals i very much daubt that some one is gonna run off to vw a say the forum is ripping us off spesh when were all enthusiasts of there car Ill get prices together for you

thought i could be of assistance here if need be i work at a digital print firm that is 3m registered so everything that gets done is usually of high quality we do car vinyle wraps and large format print so if anybody wanted say a picture of a storm i could possibly get it done for you if they are running low or we also do canvasses obvs i can get them a bit cheaper then if they wher out of a shop, anything can be printed so long as the camera used was good quality ie megapixels not camera phones , if theres any interest or if its needed at any point you could just email me a pic of what you want and i could get you a price sorted then just sent it out in a tube or packaging just a heads up incase you need it , i dont have much to offer but every little helps

cheers for the advice on all of this thread i think im gonna start running it on super now as it does run better , i fitted the new injectors today took best part of half an our wich is good i thought it was gonna take longer , didnt manage to snap any clips either wich was good as vw gave me the wrong clips when i ordered new one !! all seems good up to now , my car hasnt hit over 25mpg in months and as soon as i took it out engine still at medium to cold did about 2 and a half to three miles and straight away hit 28.2 so something has worked a treat it also idles alot better now and feels smooth im definetly glad i got these done even for the money its good peace of mind and i feel happy to be driving it again now BUT as there is always a problem changed the front pads asweal today all was fine went to fit the back and one of my calipers has been seeping oil so think im gonna get a new caliper sorted... why is there always a down side lol looking forward to getting my exhaust on now and the chip should make things alot smoother all in all im a happy man today lol

just a quiky iv tried to use the advance search agai but with no luck so i was just wondering if any one knew wer the maf sensor if and how to clean it as i would like to try it for running reasons any pics or pointers would great cheers , all i could find was one for the vr

Cheers guys iv ordered my injectors now i spoke to dg autotech yesterday when i booked in and dave assured me they will probs need changing so i had a look throught the service history when i got home and there was no reciept for anything to do with injectors so i got them ordered along with pagid pads all round and a pas belt to stop tje bugger squeeling lol As for the super unleaded i got told it wouldnt really help a normally aspirated engine but to be honest i have run it on it and it does feel smoother Just got to get them fitted now does anyone know if you need a special tool to do the injectors my mechanic friend has told me to check just incase he needs one before saturday Cheers again for the help and advice

i know what you mean me and the girlfriend got two goldfish when hungover once for a giggle but weeks later ended up buying a a 60 gallon tank for some tropical fish and like you said we always enjoy watching them and looking after them , it was a bit worrying at first as we didnt want to get anything wrong and killl them but all was good and now we have lots of fish lol . we have two filver sharks , two clown loaches , three zebra fish, a sukker fish ,a micky mouse fish , a few others but my faves are these little silver ones with red heads and racing stripe tails lol. the clown loaches are also great they are put in moods easy but on a good day they do hand stands and al sorts lol if you havent yet got a tank make sure you pick the biggest tank you can fit staraight away as if you buy a small one once you have filled it with its max capacity of fish you will want bigger , then you have to go out and do it all again , bigger tank wait a month for the cycle to kick in then fill it up again its also good to note not to put to many fish in in one go but maybe a few a month and a sukker fish is a good idea as they keep the tank clean . if you have read alot about the tropical fish you will know that there are a friendly groupe and a nasty group so they cant been mixed , in my opinion i would go for the friendly , they are much nicer to look at and are very placid

cheers will have a think about all the above i dont think theres is to much wrong it just feels a bit sloppy low down but as said im sure dave will be able to tell me , before i head down to dg its getting a oil and filter change , gearbox oil , air filter and genral service . the lad who had it before me put kr cam in there and i dont know if this was set up when put in or weather it needed to be but it just doesent seem to be running great and fuel is killing me , i put 71 pound in the other month and got 315 miles with steady driving lol i didnt think thatt was good !! i know the weather was freezing so mpg would drop but that much seemed ridiculouse , time will tell as im gonna book it in tomorrow hope fully for the end of the month

cheers guys , jim i foumd an old post from when you did yours so iv got the part number now gonna go to my local eurocar parts tomorrow they said 35quid each so its not to bad but when theres so many other things you want to do it frustrating having to fork out lol like you said its just something you have to bite the bullet and do and hopefully afterwards be able to see a difference in fuel consumption from the better fuelling jim what was the reason you did yours ? i spoke to dave at dg and he said when my cars there he will have a look to see if there nakkerd as it would affect performance before its chipped the only reason i wanted to know wheres best is because my friends a mechanic and can fit them for me as my bill for dg when i get the work done is already nearly topping 700 quid lol.....corrados ehhhh

Will add that i have had a price from dg autotech and also looked on tje bay and eurocarparts but just wanted to know if anyone knew of a cheaper place or a different injector i could use .
