yea i knew they was fake splits have already had a tester at drilling the leftover plastic fake bolts out but i cant understand why they wouldnt sell these new how daft! any ways i know what bolts i am putting back in them going for something different with black stainles bolts but instead of tapping all the holes am going to use aroldite metal glue stuff wich should hold them fine but your defo right about it been a pain to do but was unsure about this foil wrapped wheel balls id never heard of it either ! anyhows pics will be up when finished feel free to pop around and polish them if you want haha

right i have keskin kt1 wheels on the corrado but they have corroded quite badly and have white worm or whatever it is , the worst parts are near the bolts so i am going to refurb them but i have been told i cant do them because they are foil wrapped or something then laquered on top so my argument is they must be able to be polished but has anyone had this problem before ? im not saying its gonna be easy at all but surley if the wheel is made of ally then it must be able to be stripped and polished any advice people ?? :confused4:

Hmm not sure then maybe jeteashing close to it would blast ot of but then you would have to be careful of engine bits i suppose maybe try a airline with the psi right up and try a blast it off that way

I used gunk a month or so ago that worked really well just spray in leave then agitate it with a brush the rinse of and a wipe down worked really well

I thought about the auto glym but decided the review for gliptone was better although i was going to start another thread for a job about the headlining because i wanted it black but didnt know weather to cover it in fabric or spray it but found a product from autoglym thats like a spray dye ill try get a link up tonight to see if anyone has used it or can recormend it or shall i just start onother thread lol

Cheers fla i managed to order a gliptone kit lastnight with a soft brush in it along with some pads and cloths and cheers andy there seems tp be a furniture clinic near me so will give that a try asweal is there a specific kit to buy

really ill give it a go the leather is quite dirty i think seems to be stuck in the cracks of the leather will have a try tho

right had a look through all the threads for leather cleaning and gliptone seems to be the bestbut was just wondering if anyone knew of anything else ? its for a beige leather interior so a light colour

cheers for the part numbers dragonfir3 i rang my main dealers and the prive was 57.90 for each relay so thats out the window im going to take your advice and try german ebay , i also looked at the loom the guy gave me and it looks exactly the same as the one on here... but ... the loom has a four slot connector on it and the seats have a six slot connector plug so is there something i dont know about with the storm seats as all the switches and wires look right :scratch: does anyone know of a wiring diagram that i could have a look at to see whats the difference ? cheers again i realy am poo when it comes to electrics im suprised i havent blown myself up by now lol .

Not today but weekend was spent stripping two corrados and swapping interiors my standard grey for a full beige storm interior , cant say anything but over the moon just need to get my head around how to sort the heated bit

Cheers mate iv had a word with the lad im buying it off and he has the looms and switches wich is a bonus but says the looms dont have relays on so would that be a big problem for me to sort out ? Im useless with electrics realy not my cup of tea lol Cheers guys
