Hi just wondering if there is any corrado owners in salisbury that could possibly be able to pick up a set of wheels in the area My friend has just got some merc wheels and cant pik them up this weekend and the lad who is selling them is going travelling on sunday I rekon if anyone could pike them up and store for a week until next weekend so we could pik them up he will sort u out twenty quid petrol money Its not a definate yet but any response would be hood back up Cheers guys and gals

No they dont i much prefere the ride on 16 s and also how it looks ill have a look on e38 and see wats about the only reason i said 17s is because of the ones that are for sale on the bay .

No the ones i have seen are on ebay now for 400 but no one has bidded i did some searching on google and saw a few sets go cheap on drift forums and stuff the cheapest price for a set being around 180 ish quid but as you say daz that seems to good to be true !! Think i will keep my eyes peeled for something else ! Stupid money burning holes in my pockets it needs to be spent lol

yea that sounds good mate i made the last one before christmas got to have a banter with philuk but i went after that lol felt a bit out of place will try to make the next one probs pm ya before it and cheers for the encouragement iv been changing my mind every week about it for the last month

no i havent been in one yet i was going to test drive a storm at the weekend but i think im gonna save myself the heart ache lol and get on with the valver , i did try and get a go in lilfuzzers vr at the ccgb meet in the summer but i had to leave so im still a vr virgin lol :(

hah i know what you mean by a chore i find wheels too addictive , and yea it was a good read i keep meaning to do one myself but i never get round to it , iv just saved about a grand to put towards a vr but gonna stick with the valver now so hopefully should be looking good for the summer and hopefully a few shows and who needs a house when you have a nice car lol

has anybody evar seen these wheels and if so have you ever seen them on a corrado there is a set for sale i have seen but they are for a jap car but the bloke whos sellin them has had them on a golf and a tt . i love thse wheels think they would look great and different to all thos bbs wheels http://www.driftworks.com/forum/parts-s ... 114x5.html theres a pic of what they look like . really im just wanting to know if i could get them on if anyone had any advice on these if theres any wheel wores here cheers

Not a massive wheel geek but i think you can get them wobble bolts for the 98 thing as tjer only two mil but correct me if im wrong and of course the center bore of the wheel would have to be the same or bigger so spiggot rings could be used to bring them to 57.1 or whatever it is Also the et would have to be checked if its a low et , ei et 3 then they might be pokey near the arches

cheers for these tips think if i buy one its going to be the two box system although i cant seem to shake this vr thing at the moment now iv saved enough money to do the exhaust and chip and what not i though why not just keep saving get a little load extension buy a vr lol then il probs be back in here choosing what to buy for a vr if i get one lol :cuckoo:

Yes hes said he works for a cars sales place but hes selling it private and has owned it for about 4 years ! When i asked him about the chains he said if it was an issue because he worked for a garage he could get them done if needed wich i thaught was good Wats the thaughts on milage then or should i worry more about the ser ice history Think im going to print out the check list of here and go from there

Going to be viewing a storm in the next week and iv looked through tje buying guide and theres not a lot in storms , i was wondering if tjere is anything else to look out for and also the milage is about 160 000 i know this is quite , i asked about the chains been done and he said no but has said he could do them before its sold so apart from chains is that kind of milage ok ? Id be fine viewing a vr i think but any extras with a storm model might catch me out

Just book an mot at your local garage for the day you will be collecting it , if you get stopped just tell them you are going straight to an mot station as its legal to drive it to there just keep the garages num in ya fone so you can confirm its booked in

hi just wondering how much difference there is between the jetex two box system and the three box system iv not had to buy an aftermarket exhaust before so dont really know what to go for , i.e two box or three .... but definatly jetex . i dont want it to be chavvy but i dont want to spend all that money and not be able to notice a nice sound when i put my foot down and im not to bothered about prices between the two systems either ! iv read alot of this thread but cant decide what to go for also will the size of the tailpipe make a big difference to noise i think there is a choice between 80mm or 120mm but thats just of the top of my head one last thing guys if anyone knows .......it says that there are alot of different tailpipes to choose from and i really like the look of a single box twin exit pipe i think its like the golf mk2 one that are about 60mm each , is this something you can change when you order or is it something i would be able to get done once the exhaust is fitted any advice apriciated guys as im ready to order it and jus want some opinions

Thanks for the advice think i will go through the service history of the car tonight and see if there any reciepts for a new one and will get it to an mot station i know there is one for sale on here at the moment so if i need one i might get that to see if things improve Cheers guys

My car is running slighty poor ..... I think so along with checking and changing servicable parts is tjere a way i can check the lambda sensor is ok and working properly as iv been thinking of putting a new one in to see if anything improves is this a good thing to check or change ??

Cheers guys think om gonna order the jetex now tho as iv spoke to dg auto tech and want to play it safe i think as its a bit of a journey if anything was to go wrong bit tjanks for the help it was quite a bit ago when i was deciding what to get

Sorry for tje delay in posting about this i think im gonna play it safe now with a jetex but iv still got them in mind and like you say there work does look good any body else got any recomendations on this company
