I think thats it , theres a million more bits in the loft but there in boxes for now !! The windscreen is ordered and my mate sent me these today as hes started on the car and should hopefully be done by the end of the week [ATTACH]80264[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80265[/ATTACH] Towing eye is gone [ATTACH]80266[/ATTACH] Bonnets been cut and plates where the schrick used to catch , that will be properly sealed and painted [ATTACH]80267[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80268[/ATTACH]

Also need to make up a proper loom still for the recaros as i snapped these up just as i took the car of the road To say im over the moon would be and understatement tbh and i cant wait to have a drive in them And yess i have sat playing forza on the xbox in one haha !! They are like new ! And i mean new like super new [ATTACH]80262[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80263[/ATTACH] I do have the rears aswell but they was still wrapped up

On the engine rebuild side of things i took the new rebuilt head i bought and the schrick 268's to my local performance engineers and got them to check it over and he said all was good on that side [ATTACH]80261[/ATTACH] I dropped of a flywheel while i was there aswell and they have lightend it to 12 pounds wich should hopefully make things rev a little easier while not making thinks to light on the clutch

Random bits iv been doing over the last few weeks while jodie has been watching her ****e tv as always lol Built up my fans and stainless brackets Many many thanks to chris for these what a star for putting time and effort in to these when i know hes on such a busy schedule Spal's [ATTACH]80256[/ATTACH] With brackets built up with stainless fixings [ATTACH]80257[/ATTACH] I also painted the swg scuttle , plasticote primered it first and then used satin black but it didnt come out to well so the only pic i have is of it in primer , ill do it again properly and post some pics [ATTACH]80258[/ATTACH] Few other boxes of bits ov got are new scrapers seals and all the other little seals like ariel and door and mirror seals and new clips and stuff and a new expansion tank and lid [ATTACH]80259[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80260[/ATTACH]

I got my hamds on a techtonics 2.5 system wich iv very happy about [ATTACH]80251[/ATTACH] Tarted it up for the rebuild [ATTACH]80252[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80253[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80254[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80255[/ATTACH] Happy with how it came out i just need to order another section of t304 stainless to complete it up to the decat

Next up is the bumper irons Freshely powdercoated and put back together with stainless bolts they just need a coat of dinitrol [ATTACH]80250[/ATTACH]

Never telling lol , only kidding they was on ebay mate !! There could be a set for sale depending on how the budget for the car goes !!

Finished the all red rears , i left the reverse lights white like standars and pin striped the corners [ATTACH]80241[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80240[/ATTACH] Also done some all red side repeaters [ATTACH]80242[/ATTACH] Hoping the fresh red goes nicely with the new paint when its done

Next up was the fogs , both my lenses wer shagged / cracked and im tight and didnt want to pay out for new glass so i bought some of these intakes [ATTACH]80234[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80235[/ATTACH] Then smashed the glass out the surrounds [ATTACH]80236[/ATTACH] Cut them to shape but they looked rough and i wasnt happy [ATTACH]80237[/ATTACH] So i trimmed a little more and them used some rubber seal to make it neater [ATTACH]80238[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80239[/ATTACH] Thats where im at with these for the moment as iv cut some black infill bits for some of the corners where the light is showing through and i dont like it so ill bond them in and then glue the duct in place and iv also got some brand new indicators to finish them off so hopefully they will look good , and as part of this little side project im also going to run a cold air feed direct to the bmc from one

Ermm bot sure where to start with updates so little and often i think as the balls really started to roll now Firstly i picked up another set of 16" speedlines so got to work refurbing them This is how they looked when i bought them [ATTACH]80229[/ATTACH] I sanded them down and filled aome of the small curb marks and niggles they had then put them in a 2k high build [ATTACH]80230[/ATTACH] Then rubbed them down again and used a celly base coat followed by a 2k clear coat so there nice and durable on the car They came out well [ATTACH]80231[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]80232[/ATTACH] And one in the light [ATTACH]80233[/ATTACH] Just need tyres now , panning on 4 new parada spec 2's or advan ad08-r's

Mine are grooved / slotted , no cracks and there fine stopping aswell , i think im gonna renew the disks and ill be doing the same aswell and staying slottoed just for the looks alone

Yoir right but i think even after a few years they wouldnt collect that much and then removing the sump to clear it wouldnt be to much of a job if you just scheduled it in to an oil change

Id avoid the sump plug and just get a very strong magnet and plop it on the outside of the sump to aboid any mishaps , it will still do the same job
