Anybody got a brake compensator for my early 1.8 16V Rado? If not, any advice on what other cars I will find one on that will fit my car??

Will the the load sensing valve/brake compensator get my car through its MOT? How much posted? Hope to hear from you very soon.

Passenger window switch? And a wee bit for window, not sure what they are called, if they even have a name!! There should(?) be prehaps 2(?) small plastic(?) bits that go in the window channel and allow window to go up and down.... hope that description means something to you!!? Couple of bits I'm needing, if you've still got them!? Rear passenger side girling brake caliper? Passenger side window switch? And a wee bit for window, not sure what they are called. Needing a rear caliper for my 1989 16V Corrado, I know someone thats breaking a 1997 Gti Ibiza Cupra and reckons that the caliper will fit my car off it! Yeah or nae? If not, what VAGs (that are fairly common come across!!) will I be able to take one off fae??

at my wits end with this money pit now!!! got an early 1.8 16v (kr engine) bought it about 10 months ago, didnt idle or run right when i first got it to be honest then stopped running altogether 6 months ago. its had new distribuator, ecu, ignition panel, coil package, been to an auto electrician who checked the wiring and timing, although he got it running the car still isnt idling well enough for an MOT. my dad thinks it could be something to do with the fuel injection system and wonders if this can be adjusted?? it runs poor at low revs but once heated up runs a little bit better!

had a search through the forum but nothing answers my question... my car been having idling problems, missing revs when running, gulping fuel, and smelling of fuel!! well the garage said ther was some wiring that needed to be sorted, he done that yesterday, well i call today and been told me car aint starting atall!! they have ordered a new spark(??) i think he said!! any other ideas what the prob could be?? starting to miss it :( and also running out of money and patience for the :censored: as its already been in garage for over a 6weeks getting work done!!

A friend spotted a GREY VR6(??) in ORKNEY a couple of times last week!! Once outside a b&b in holm village and also in tesco carpark!! Hoping its somebody on holiday and not a local because mine is looking abit sad and not running at the mo!! :lol:

cars lighting is... poor... to say the least in unlit areas... I have read on here that with philips xtreme bulbs wiing looms etc dont have to be changed. should i change both headlights and full beam bulbs too?

sat in an italian restaurant (i think its called riva!!!) INVERNESS yesterday about 6! seen a corrado on other side of river sat in red lights and then came over the bridge! it looked grey, big wheels and poss L reg!!!

Yeahh i have had that one before!!:L My fave admirer was a lady in her late 60s!! She came upto me in a carpark about a month ago and asked if the car was mine! I had just been on some open roads giving the car a thrashing so nervously admitted i was the driver, thinking she was going to have a go about my driving but she proceeded to tell me how she always had scirrocos and always wanted a corrado! I didnt see what she is driving now though!!

Unfortunately newer cars have better security by all accounts. How have you got insurance without an immobiliser already :shock: ???? :shrug: Prehaps because of my location?! I could leave my keys in ignition on a saturday night in "town centre" and it would still be there the sunday morning!! :lol: Insurance did tell me that my quote reflected security! ... Paying near enough 800quid ... although i have 0 no claims and only been passed test 4 years!

Good call phoning police! Are corrados stolen very often, thought even the kids would go for something abit newer! I did read on here about someone that had his towed off drive way after a note was left previously offering to buy it... sorry... Where i live theres no real danger but i plan to go road trip to south of Scotland and north England this summer, thinking of investing in alarm and immobiliser now! Do you have alarm? Immobiliser? Tracker?

I have an early valver... Beside fog light switch and window demister thers is tiny red bulb... and a space where there looks like one is missing... What are these??
