Yeahhh it was the alternator!!! Noww for my next prob... leaky fuel injection(?) pipes...

Cheers for the advice! Although the alternator appears to maybe have already had work, gonna get it off and take it to someone who refurbs them to check!

On thursday my battery warning light came on! Its not flickering, but on all the time! I just parked it up there and then because presumed it would be alternator, which could have me stuck anywhere!! But its still starting and even took it a wee run lastnight, if it had been alternator presuming battery would be dead by now!! :scratch: So thinking wiring!? Now scared my cars going to erupt in flames!!! :pale: Any advice anyone?

Seems to be opposite problem from everyone else... My father has just taken my valver for a 10minute run... Get back to the house and the cooling fan kicks in... He had a snoop about the engine bay and as cooling fan runs and as he is leaning on the engine the cooling fan stops... Possible earthing problems? The electrics (surprise, surprise!!) are abit of a bodged mess, in the fuse box anyway!! Any advice?

I have found some fantastic plates i would love but they wont transfer to cars older than 10years old... :confused4: Where can i find a plate that can be tranfered to a car older than 10years??

Yeah thats it!! I keep checking out the window to make sure av really got it.... and to make sure its not been stolen!!! :lol: I was actually keen for a newer one but spent months looking for one in scotland, living up in Orkney doesnt help as travelling anywhere means taking a holiday and lots of extra cash out on travel!

Just bought a corrado, reg sept 1989!!! Did 200 miles prob free! Original engine but everything else was replaced/rebuilt by previous owner!
