  1. Hi what mileage on the gearbox
  2. Yep 45 sounds fine and i'm in no particular rush at the moment so whenever possible really
  3. Would you take 40 pound collected for the gearbox
  4. Have you still got the gearbox and if so what condition is it in. I'm assuming its the hydraulic clutch type. Also do you happen to have an alternator available. Many thanks Mike
  5. Grey j reg at the horton inn car parklooked very tidy
  6. Just wandering if there is any way to tell the two 16 valves apart would be interesting to see how many early valvers there are left.
  7. Ive actually been doing that slowly i have done all the running gear already, and i have a PAS rack ready to go on when the weather gets a bit warmer.
  8. The bolt sheared the threads where the locking nut was holding onto, and yeah i was suprised to see it, can only really put it down to an old bolt or a weakness in the bolt. Ive sheared an m24 bolt before at work because of a flaw in the bolt. But on the plus side a new bolt cv gaitor and tracked up and its back on the road, just the wing to sort out at the weekend now.
  9. Will have to check out greenflag then. The driveshaft nuts are easy to get off if you have a bit of scaffold pipe, they are tight. Make sure when it goes back together that the torque washer is the right way round and the new nut is tighten up to 195lb ft.
  10. On the way to work this morning after replacing the cv joints on the offside of the car and the ball joint pinch bolt on the nearside decided to shear the thread of the bolts resulting in this. Not a pleasant experience at 45mph and with no warning. Then the lovely RAC took 4 hours to recover it back home and charging me an additional £100 pound for recovery as it was further then 10 miles from my home, so lesson learnt back with the AA next year.
  11. Sorry guys going to have to pull out of this at the moment managed to puncture a couple of tires so money is a bit tight
  12. Am i right in thinking its £123 to post plus £16 tax, and then courier or collection from exeter?
  13. Well bit more progressed today been polishing up a couple of inlet manifolds and connecting a few wires up, so slowly getting there just need the welding to be done now so i can finish the engine and hopefully get her started http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/photo.php?fbid=10150387618980074&set=a.10150362410120074.601202.619505073&theater
