aha ive one and thats hard enough to keep running, ran out of pads and sued it for a wee bit, bad i know, noisy also but it was only the rears and they stopped working all together today so time for it to sit till i can get that caliper tool thing, annoying as my other cars didnt need one (mk2,mk1, mk4 polo 6n)which all found their graves or richer owners. whos got 4?

you got the solonoid ont he car and working with the newer dors mate? Im intrested to know if you had to chop the hole out orif you jsut did it to make it less fidly, planning on doing this any tips would be nice, thanks mate.

Fair play to her for allowing this, in all cases. I think getting them to drive a vw is easy but getting a wedding to be based on vws is a challenge. Youve obviously got yourself a good catch. Rad seems fine and all in good working order no holes etc, the fan, well randomly it seems to only work with the ignition off, i think there is a earthing swith which earths it at about 105 degrees or somethign which turns the fan on but at the moment as it doesnt work with the ignition on i have earthed it so when the ignition is off it works as its better than non at all. Fan does work ok, when i bought the car the wiring from the fan was messed with and one cable wasnt together and was cut at a point where three wires go, one was cut and not put toghether so i put it together as the fan wasnt working at all, now only works with the ignition off, i have to say, i appologise for being retarded with cars, i jsut love dubs and driving them in a way which makes them break down frequently i just try and do it all my self cus i cant afford to pay for a garage to do it for me. thanks

aha sound mate, it was exactally that, pulled it up and did it and now it works but i did disconect it as it does my head i anyway wanted to change it so it goes up at around 70 or sumut tbh. Cheers fellas

Bassets pole ay, dont see many round here, my mates got one ( a bird - White 2l16v pretty low, i think keskins or sumut) and a green one with borbets and the normal centre caps and mine. Used to be a green one down my road when i was about 7, thats why i own one now... aha. And a dude who owned two i think vr supercharged (Black) was mint.

Yea sound mate, thanks. And nah keeping it that low was a good choice, looks mint. I think the lowest corrado ive seen tbh, ive seen alot. I say it because mine is low and i want to go more but i smashed my splitter up when it was standard and now its like an inch maybe less from the floor, but tbh im loving the cm youve got going there, looks filth. Did you only do the outside with the cans? Any bay etc etc?

I want the wee bit of streatch for stance, will help me bring my wheels closer to y arches with less rubbage and tyre abuse. Also so my rim pokes out the edge of them (Looks sexual) Bit sad but you only get your car nice with a bit of efort so... thought you lot would be the best to ask as you pretty much know the ins and outs of corrados with your eyes shut. Thanks. Is 195/50/15's the size which is suposed to fit on that wheel origionaly or is that a bit of streatch, sorry as i dont know what the 195 is or the 50 im pretty wounded. aha im sorry. Its a 1.8 16v, its not the thermostat, as i did that first thinking it may be the problem but no, then water pump and im still overheating, it does go over 100 but im in a messy state of crapping myself cus ive done it before and blew up the engine on my mk1..... so i stop where ever i am... Thanks for the help people. It rises up from nothing to about 70 in about 4 mins and from there, it jsut goes up and up and up, thanks. Ive also heard the optimum temp for the 16v to run on is sumut around 75 degrees... Im hoping to be able to drive it properly at some point soon, aha.

Arghhh, im getting annoyed withmy car evrything is breaking daily. I hoping its a fuse but none of the things on the back of the dash thing say electric spoiler, ive googled and all i can find is what relay etc it is but not what fuse number, im imagining you lot will have had this manny tims so please help me lower it down cus its doing my head in, dont like it up and at its stuck. My car was over heating and i thought it was my water pumpas it didnt seem to be working, done it and figurd it would be fine but tis still over heating, ust keeps on going up to about 100 degrees in about 6 minuits of driving, giving it a bit obviously makes it overheat faster. im clueless of what it could be and im not wanting it to be the head gasket tbh. Its doing my head in repairing cars, i have 9 stiches in my elbow and a sprained wrist im basically disabled and its not fun. Would much appreciate any help, thanks.

Mate, as i said i dont know sizes of tyres and as different people put different sizes on then their will be more than one view, i asked for them. Alright i just wandering if anyone knows the sizes of the Estoril wheels ( http://media.photobucket.com/image/esto ... 0_1027.jpg )and what size tyre im looking for on them, kinda wouldnt mind a wee bit o streatch but they will get pushed sometimes so not too much, i know their 15s, thats about it. And their not mine jsut some i found on the net, thanks alot. I know their will be different viewson this but i know neither so... thanks.

And at the end of the day you dont want your car to be a pussy you want to keep up with anything you find, bikes, porsches etc etc and to do so, you either meet someone who cant drive that owns a 911 etc or you make your car meet the standards nessesary to leave them with a frown on his/her face. I love it, might be a little wrong but, ive driven 'old cars' since i passed my test and love them, also love the look on peoples faces when you go straight past them smiling when they think they should abliterate you. Good fun, even if it is technically wrong. Also DRIFTING..... fools. Im getting pissed off with front wheel drive cars, their boring but i love VW's. I need more sideways action and handbreaks on old cars arnt as good as 350bhp behind 4 wheels :)
