Well since returning from germany progress has been slow but i have found the love again :) first job get shut of the Leon second job strip the engine to find the damage bad news then! not to worry, sourced a new block and head at a very discounted price :) third job, zie germans seem to have broke my door handle! wont even open the door now, any suggestions? i know that its a common fault but how do you fix it? fourth job is aquire some parts and still in need of late spec hedlights, fogs, indicators and grill does anybody know if the late front end will fit using the early slam pannel and bumper bar? To do list. -rebuild engine -rebuild and pollybush underside -sort the bodywork out -respray -some decent coilovers and some 4 pots for the front

I got a bonnet from chester yesterday for £30, only need the fogs grill and headlights now!

dont be daft im a driving god!!!!!!! the engine is tryin to hack its way through the early bonnet plus the late front end looks better. no bits to offer to a good cause?

i got 50 quid for a seat leon rollin shell but so probably only get about 150 because its light! probably get a bit more if you drive it there yourself.

think you can get the imobiliser deleted but not sure were

looking for a late front end -mainly - bonnet, grill -not so important - headlantens, fogs and indicators for each side, both wings, 50mm splitter for bigger parts im in the wigan (north west) and dont realy want to travel to far!

a dark blue one parked up in coppull across from the police station this morning at about 9.30 and this afternoon about 4, not seen it before!

some kid threw a water bomb (didnt know this at the time!) also sounded like a brick hittin the car. i was so angry cos i seen him throw something....thud... then he leged it the other way down the road. without thinking i spun the car round, grabbed the little sheet and started yellin obsenaties at him (blood was boilin at his point as i thought it were a rock) the lad (must of only been about 12) sheepishly admited it was just a water bomb and that he was sorry! i turned to see that the car was wet and a middle aged guy walking his dog looking at me, turned back to the young lad and his mate, both look like they had shat themselves. at this point i realised things had got out of hand so swiftly left the scene leaving the lads with some strong words! on reflection probably over reacted but who throws anything at a car i was on a train last year (same area) that got cancelled half way home because some low life had chucked a brick through the cab window, luckily nobody was hurt but it took me 2 hours to travel 8 miles!

A blue 16v H reg outside haydock races about 12.30 yesterday. looked bang tidy!

spotted two yesterday at oulton park. nice vr on d90's, had a quick chat! second, another dark, possibly vr? parked facing the pit lane.

i got done by a mobile camera and was sent on a speed awareness, let just hope you got away as both are a pain!

possibly just the head! my engine doctor should be round some time this week to test. off topic a bit, you wasnt the james i seen the other day at the beech, it was other james....i got mixed up!

sound like a good week james. i was close to purchasing an 8v the other day but decided 1 was more than enough problems in my life!

mine spat all its coolent out on the ring a few week ago, that was due to somebody (not me by the way!) not putting the cap back on the header tank after checking all the levels etc. unfortunatly my engine didnt do as well but made it to the end of the track! apparantly there was a vr6 in the carpark steeming away at the same time. this nurburgring dont seem to be doing much for the welfare of corrados!

probably dropping another car off it only cost me the a few quid for the european breakdown cover, then it cost the AA £1500 to recover it back to my front door. there was talk of them writing it off and sending me a cheque for the market value of the car, but convinced them it was worth more than that! at least its home and been spotted, just wish i was in when it was spotted!

thats mine comin home from germany. just a slight technical problem so not going to its grave!
