I have a 92 VR6 US spec with 126,000 KM on the cllock. The car is mechanically sound but the AC just about blows ambient air. Barely cool. Want to keep the car provided the AC can keep me cool when its 42 degree outside in city driving. My quetion before i spent a lot of money. Is the original AC (when services , checked for any leaks etc) capable of keeping the occupants cool compared to the current generation cars?

Thanks for the info guys. I will have to ship international. That the reason i wanted to know if its fits before i buy it. My local VW delear will not have MK3 GTI part that u mentioned.

The car was resprayed by the previous owner. I'am sure they didnt bother to remove these strips. As the car paint looks fresh but the black paint on the rubber strips looks its age. :censored: I guess i will have to leave it then. Thanks for the reply guys.!

So the info of the radiator fan have an inbuilt speed controler is incorrect? Are these blue , yellow & black sensors the ones that fit at the side of the thermostat housing? Like the pic attached below? Are these coloured sensors the same for a 92 US specs model as well? or do the colour vary from model to model.? Thank you for the help.

I have a 92 VR6 US specs with AC. What controls the Radiator Fan's 1 & 2 speed? Is it the "radiator Fan switch' or some control module that is attached to the back of the radiator fan itself. I know that the high speed fan (3rd speed) is triggered or controlled by the Radaitor Fan control unit/module.(Recently bought the new updated version (3A0 919 506 with 10 pin) My 1st & 2nd speed on the fan dosent work. Only the 3rd speed works automatically once the coolant temp touches 220F. Thanks in advace

How will the rolling radius change if the 45 profile is constant between a 195 & a 205 width tire? BTW What size tires are these..?

Thanks for that..! When u say 6.5J wheel u are refeering to 6.5 as the width of the rim right? BTW What would be the VW part number for these wheels? Need to check they from my local delear. Got this no. from some other forum VW269723 but was told that is incorrect. Thansk!

:gag: ya i figured that after 2 minutes posting my note.

This is just perfect guys.... thanks for the pics..!!! -What do u mean by 'running 288..???' -Hubcentric H&R 20mm spacers will fit absolutely fine? -Since they are only 6.5" wide. What tires would u recommend to get the slight fat tire look as shown below on the Scricco? To give an illusion of a wider rim. :D

Came across this one.........are these the same Bora or Beetle ones? They look more like 15"

Does any one have Corrado pics with the OE 16" Steel wheels from the Bora or Beetle. The specs are 16"x6.5". Thanks
