  1. If you are looking at http://www.rclick.co.uk then they do a boot release kit, that works off of their 4 door remote central locking.
  2. I know you said the blue temp sensor is 2 years old, but it could be the culprit. If it's disconnected the car won't start, if it's faulty you will most likely have the same problem, but hopefully it's the ECU hose. Regardless of the above, If it's been over fuelling, check your spark plugs, they are probably nicely sooted up, use an emery board (nick a used one from your wife/girlfriend), and gently get the spark plugs shiny again.
  3. I highly recommend JMR, it's not just G60's, they do all water cooled dubs. He is always extremely busy, which is probably why he has not been able to call you back.
  4. Hi, I will definitely take this please if still for sale. Please send me a PM with details Thanks, Mark

  8. As above - in reasonable condition please :)

  17. Does it have properly working ABS? I would be interested in the pump, ecu/controller, master cylinder and as much of the wiring loom as possible (although i do not need the sensors). Cheers
  18. Firstly, I can not recommend Jabba either for G60 rebuilds, I used them when I first bought my G (just after the days when Mike T stopped doing the work himself on g-laders), all was well until the next rebuild - looked like someone had gone at it with a hammer and chisel inside :( Secondly I could add a load more info on why you should avoid G-Werks, but it will make this thread too long lol, but basically I wished I never took my car in to have an engine rebuild and modifications done. Good news is that Rob has gone, (although he answered the phone, he was not much use after that). As people have said, Darren is in with the scene (or is that sensless?) crowd. Darren is a great guy, but maybe that's a failing when it comes to managing his staff and the people he sub-contracts out to do work for him? who knows. All the problems in my car (including electrical ones that were not there when the car went into G-Werks) were sorted out by JMR . You get customer service and no bullsh*t from John. The dodgy G-Werks mapping was also sorted out by JMR and Dave @ DG Autotech. oh yeah, I own a Golf G60, but it obviously did not qualify as "scene" for G-Werks Topaz2008 glad that you have finally got your charger back :)
  19. I had a questionable "tailored" chip from a reputable G60 tuner, which was way too lean up to the point of the charger going on boost, and then it just dumped loads fuel, surprised the engine survived. Thankfully DG Autotech on recommendation by JMR came to the rescue. Emulator route is definitely the best, had mine done by Dave - awesome map - smooth power delivery, car goes like a rocket!.
  20. I second Yandards recommendation of DG Autotech. Just had a remap on Friday, car pulls like a freight train - very smooth power delivery. Money well spent to have it setup properly. I ditched my off the shelf SNS chip which was running too lean up to 3K rpm then just dumped fuel in 3K + it's a supercharger not a turbo
