  1. Alright people, Well planning to hook up my Diamond Audio 12" M6 sub sometime. but also planning to get either DLS or Audiobahn components 5,1/4" in the doors, 4" in the dash and tweeters in the front and 6,4" components in the rear with tweeters in the rear too. Hopefully I can get the amps too, looking to get either DLS amps or genesis, but looking more at the DLS amps due to cheaper price. Dazzyvr6 stick with the DLS or Audiobahns they have both been tops in mags and things. But at the end of the day its all down to personal taste, and budget. :D
  2. Mate, i've still got, my standard factory stuff in the car, the front speakers are blown and the rear ones are on there way out too!! The front end of my cars got a prang, so need a new bonnet, slam panel and drivers side front wing, as well as two headlights. The garage is fixing me up with the parts but they take time to find. so have been waiting ages :? gonna do the fixing myself and get it sprayed by a body panel shop. I'm from NW London near Harrow how bout you mate?? No pics of the car yet mate but will get them done as soon as she's done up good :)
  3. After looking aroubnd for 2 weeks, I'm paying just over £1,300 fully comp, with Norwich Union Direct, with no NCB's, declared sports exhaust on car which increased it by £150 !!! The excess is a joke too at £320. Its criminal mate but you just have to grin and bare it, at least for the first year!!
  4. Afternoon guys, yep was a good surprise getting those subs. Tested them on my bro-in-laws car and blew a fuse and almost wrecked his amp!!! He's running a 12" kicker solobaric, and the amp had no probs handling that sub, but the M6 is a different kettle of fish. Bally, my bro-in-law does installs as a hobby in his spare time, we had a chat and may start to experiment wih fibre glass and stuff, he's done a couple of installs for people too. But time is holding back things as he's getting married to my sister next march. Your right bout the weather too spring/summer is the best time to do this especially if your ripping seats and stuff out for the cableing. I'm trying to build my system slowing 'cos I gotta get my front end of my C done soon which is sapping my money  More laters.. Sanj.
  5. Just replaced mine a month ago got Zimmerman crossed drilled and padgid fast road pads, all from german and swedish, stops like a dream!! :D
  6. Bally I was given the sub as a present from my sister and bro-in law, I told them that I would love a Diamond Audio sub, initially I was gonna buy the CM3's but got a surprise when I was given the M6!! :D I'm planning to do a install, my other future bro-in-law does installs and I'm planning to get some serious kit in the car, I'm after quality not loudness!!! Whats your install mate??
  7. Cheers Joe M, I think the problem is exactly what you say it is cos when the problem does occur then the engine just runs really bad, and when I turn it off and then turn it immediately back on its as if the ECU has rebooted itself and then a minute or so later it does it again!! Cheers guys!! :)
  8. Joe M, you may have hit the mark there, the garage did say that the hall sender unit was damaged, but said that it should make no difference, and hence did'nt bother!! Is it an expensive part to replace and can I do it myself, and what does it do??? In response to VR6Storm, I have changed the plugs/leads/cap/rotor arm etc cheers guys
  9. Hi guys I recently bought a Diamond Audio 12" (M6) subwoofer, the manufacturers rated the sub at 800W RMS I was wondering what amp I would need to power it :?:
  10. Mines next to the headlight switch, planning to fit blue flashing ones where the door pins used to be!!
  11. Yep changed the fuel filter too about 2 months ago!! I'm begining to suspect its the main fuel pump. :?:
  12. Hi guys!! Need some serious help, i've had my corrado for about 8 months now and it was working fine for 2 months until I took it for a drive on the M1. Coming back from Luton the car started to lose power and it just would'nt accelerate. I pulled over to the hard shoulder, switched off the engine and started it again after a few minutes it fired up and I continued my journey, where after half a mile it did it again, again I did the same thing and after a few times of repeating this it was fine. I've had a diagnostic done on the car and the garage found nothing wrong but said it may be a fuel pump prob, I changed the pump in the fuel tank and the ISV, and checked all the hoses for fuel and vacuum leaks. But problem still occurs. I get a loud popping sound from the exhaust. I've taken it to 3 garages and no one could pinpoint the prob but they all suspect that its a fuel issue. Has anyone else had this prob with there car?? By the way its a 2.0 16V '93 model Cheers :!:
  13. Alright mate!! Yep I get the same problem, mine just started a few days ago. All it is is dirt/grit getting on the contacts on the steering wheel. Just give it a good clean with a cloth/cotton buds and apply abit of grease. It should sort the problem. Sanj
