What's the law on removing the indicator from a UK wing?
dubster82 replied to biggerbigben's topic in Exterior
im with dr mat, as its more a grey area. from a certain point, there must be visible orange light ommiting fromt he side of the vehicle. well my inpros show light from the side..... -
got it in one. the new fogs are slightly deeper, i persume for the adjuster mechanisms being hidden? and the rubber grommets thing will be obvious. basically, the fogs are supported by 'pegs' that fit into the bumper, closest to the number plate. these are held into the large hole by grommets. newer kit has larger pegs, so no need for grommets :) any problems, feel free to talk to me on msn or PM me :)

later ones are sunk into the bodywork bud.

you dont need to take the black face of the gauges to get at the lcd screens on a corrado. if you have done this, its possible you knocked the gauge inside.. temperature gauges usually stop working and are fixed in the same way that you would have to fix yours.

nah, its a piece o cake. remove the dials. remove two screws to get at dials. pull out gauge. remove needle. remove two screws on face. youll see the needlde is controlled by a lil rod that is in a slot of bi metallic metal. this heaats up and bends, moves the rod, needle goes up. this will of cam out thats all. flick rod back in. re fit. HTH
