  4. i love this car, and have done for a while now :) but i did prefer it ona black 3 bar. apart from that, its perfect :D
  5. pmsl i actually managed to convince an apprentice of mine that it fell off when i was driving one day, he couldnt believe what he was seeing!!:lol::lol::lol: told him to look at the new spoiler that i had fitted and ask if he liked it, he thought it was weird cause he couldnt remember seeing it when it was parked up, but thought well i can see it now it obvoulsy is real... pulled up to a roundabout, spoiler went down then i started acting like it must of fell off cause it was gone!!!!, he didnt believe me til he turned and saw it wasnt there anymore, poor lad didnt know what was going on :lol::lol:
  6. give me a MKI anyday
  7. :? dont you mean mystic blue as used on the storm? i constantly get people lookin at the car. feels good but feels paranoid after it. its best to drive throught the centre of town with your mate in front in his rado too  they turn to the noise of mine, see his, then see mine and go mental and start pointin and jumpin and tellin there mates cause theres two of them !!:lol::lol:
  8. stripes look better on mki's  but they look sweet cars. as it happens, ronals look better on mki's too
  9. think the badges can either be bought in the right colour or primed from VW too hth
  10. i wouldnt say it'be that easy, tho if you keep them warm and supple they could be held straiht for later i suppose
  11. might be better with 8's and have them more flush with the arch rather than 9 and have them sticking out :?:
  12. NICE! First time too that i've ever seena classic green rado and said, "wow, thats a bloody nice colour 8) " top choice on mods too mate, sets the car off :)
  13. go to inters, you'll probably see one there. and it will probably belong to CCGB mag editor Jeremery bromley, on this forum as 'campaign' cheers
  14. i kinda get the impression, that its the look he's after...
  15. R.B.5, Nice one, good choice. like every one says there are differences, as a G60 owner i HAVE to say get a G60  but seriously might want to drive them both. I actually had a cheeky little play with an RB5 one day before i had any engine work done and it was neck and neck, so i dont think you'll find either of them too slow compared to what you have. :) My car is also quite a similar colour to the RB5.... :D Pity im not even considering selling it anymore  Good luck
  16. Fat Tony, if its anything like the gauges i have, you may be able to pull the bulbs out of them. this will let you out a coloured sleeve over it. dunno where you'd get them tho, try VDO? im surprised they didnt give you different colours to go with it :?
  17. Fair enough, i was just concerned cause if you know how much C's are when they go wrong, you might change your mind! but its a fairly good idea what your planning, but like others have said, as long as the car has no internal damage, you should be fine :)
  18. nice one loon och aye the noo now, whaur did a pit that haggis :?
  19. vr6storm, you crack me up anyway, back on to retrims if anyones reading this but another company that seems quite good and doesnt cost the earth maybe Transcal. i tihnk theyre closre to glasgow than anywhere else and the work of theirs i've seen is good enough, tho seing it about a year fown the line and the leather is beginning to wear a bit, tho this was only on one of their interiors that i'd seen. i think they've done a few of the redesigning the seats ideas to looked good, and if anyone remmber the blue 5 door MK3 that turned into a silver 1.8T owned by a blonde female named Kat, then they might remember she got them to trim her car twice (for each paint scheme) and her car was in quite a few mags 8)
  20. its stupid o clock in the morning so i dont really care how i spell things  but i tihnk your being a bit paranoid... most cream leathers i see are always craked with age, or scored etc, and with that colour it really shows, hence why you really have to keep on top of it unlike the darker colours. if you only clean leather so many times a year, then you should have no excuse doing it one random sunday, so stop the heart rendering story. last time i saw your car anyway it had painted seats so it kinda lost the 'lived in' look your on about. so calm down and stop assuming on every bloody post i make on this forum lately.
  21. well, if you dont understand english  cream s a light colour, it also gets dirty quicky, some people dont care to clean it as often as it should be and its gets very stubborn and grimey looking. also most cars you get with vream leather you can get black leather with, and i've seen cream leather ina focaus to, if you were aining for the first sentence :roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll: :wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink:
