I;ve read on here, mostly from kevhaywire that H&R's are much better ride quality than Eibachs, which i have also heard, WAY more than once that eibachs are too hard.

Roofs arent easy to smooth. you could botch it but it will never last. Get your wallet out for some Lead filling.

Well id like to know how a fixed screen has managed to crack, with out anyone ever tampering wit the unit. The bulb is easy enought ones you get the gauges out. its a twist in thing you'll get from the dealer, its an od voltage so i persume youll only get them there. The led's. aint had them out myself, but it shows a picture of the connection, and it looks like they just need pulled out, and new ones pushed in maybe with a litlle shaping. I doubt thats why they aint working though. LED's are rare to blow never mind both of them. Getting the MFA changed? you might find a second hand set of gauges easier...

well worth the cash. i cant say how much cash i got off cause i did a deal for them and more at inters. but i woulda paid the full 170. They are excellent. well solid. no worry's about creaking door bins vow nad the very nicely hold, and very firmly, my 6" Focals :D

there is a green led behind each arrow for the indicators and 3 bulbs along the top of the dials. one above each gauge. if your MFA is knackered and like you say, cracked, sorry bud, but it sounds like someone has been there before you!!!!

So where di you get the new alternator from? as good as new you say? Handy you have the RS Bumper on there for that interrcooler! :shock: :lol:

Did you buy that alternator or did you polish the one you had? woulda been cheaper.... How you going to fit, and mount that intercooler... looks a tad on the big side no? amybe deceiving size in the pic, but looks like one major hassle to fit... :?

It wasn't Max Powers first cover car at all. It was also done about 1996. i was actually, freakily reading the issue on i today.... Max powers first cover car from memory was a 205 with a dimma kit Other projects have been "XS" (Purple 325 beemer with a wide kit and split rims) "RS Kicker" a Blue Escort Turbo with TSW evo's, "Thunder" a carlton with a one of kit, huge rear spoiler bright yellow paint with a two tone glow in the dark yellow at the bottom, "Mad Max" The Corrado "Rieger kit, 20K interior 30K engine and body (170bhp 16V) "project 2000" A Porsche Pink RS2000 with full engine spec, custom stripped interior and roll cage with 17" multi spokes and a Genuine Rally spoiler chopped up to fit. "Project Maxo" A Silver Saxo, completly stripped out interior with Ice custom fitted round the cage, nuthin lairy a full genuine Citroesn Rally arch kit with genuine Carbon Spoilers front and back, again Genuine racing jobs. And they'r last one A really really really bad Astra Coupe, which initially had good plans for it, but then Vauxhall released the Extreme hologomation edition for DTM use So they tried to be different and F***** up Bigtime. yup, it is a very old car now. though it was fresh in its day. It never got wrote off though. alot of people think that. It was Project Thunder that got wrote off. Right through the window of a music shop.

Actually, they did thaat bloody years ago. before i bought car mags. my cousins boyfriend bought all the mags at the time and when they moved flat i got his mags. there was a poster of it and i think there was 1 or 2 mags on it being built.

No its the Car Max Power built a few years ago when wide kits were in fashion... It was Bright Orange and apptly named "Mad Max" It has a very large engine spec though from memory it is only a 16v. It also had very lairy ICE that i last heard had been stripped out. i also heard that it was purple nowadays, but that pic shows blue... its also unfortunate pic cause i cant see the wheels which were originally split reim "Image" custom jobbies...... I'll get me coat...... :oops: :lol:
