Well i can say when i went to halfords (it only opened in december) that there was me and an MOT tester from a certain kwik fit garage and everything he tested was failed on discs and pads, exhausts or dodgy tyres. He has since been told where the door is! Now im the only tester! It really depends where you go but i will NEVER EVER fail a car on something it does not need! It really annoys me that just because i work for somewhere like halfords that im automatically a robbing gyppo!! I spent 5 years in a main dealer (toyota/skoda dealer where i was trained) and they are the real thiefs!

Halfords Autocentres are doing them for 27.42!! Without any codes etc.....

Look at the list of BMW, Mercedes, VW recalls and then see who has more... I work in a Skoda / Toyota franchise as a Toyota Technician and nearly every skoda that comes in is due a recall!! The only reason you hear about TOyota is because they took over the Number one spot for vehicle manufacturing from GM so the americans made a massive deal about Toyotas to make them look dangerous! And it makes our lives a misery....

the one euro car parts sent was a full dizzy with sensor, rotor arm and cap! ready to bolt in and plug the ht leads into!

I snapped the hall sensor on mine last week, EURO CAR PARTS got me one for 59.00 - im a mechanic so trade to me was 39.00 though!! and thats a NON-EXCHANGE!! Expensive slip with the screwdriver though......

Hi, These are the pictures of my 1990 Helios Blue 16v so far.... I bought it in December 2010 as a winter project. It was in a scrap yard nearby so i snapped it up. I wish i hadnt now.... I have replaced the Timing belt, waterpump, both auxilliary belts, distributor incl hall sensor, some of the interior, added some estoril alloys and still have an extensive list to complete! I NEED to replace the Powersteering pipes, steering lock for an adjustable column, Exhaust system as its full of holes, investigate the central locking inop, find two door handles for affordable money...... I WANT to put some nice stamped german plates on her, lower it slightly, get all the rough little bits fixed (o/s archway, round the fuel filler, under the n/s rear lamp), I need to find some nice front lamps and a n/s fog lamp and indicator lense. If you have anything i need for sale let me know! Thanks
