what's the exhaust like? -
what noises can you hear when you turn the ignition? if there's clicking from the solenoid it may be the starter motor that is dead if there's no sound whatsoever if might well be the ignition switch is shagged, which seems fairly common on these cars perhaps try bypassing the ignition switch and try starting it that way? (..make sure it's in neutral :D)

...need a new exhaust for my 1.8 but £190 is too expensive for me - good luck with the sale, but if it doesn't go sling me a pm. dave as chubbybrown said, i think the only difference is the design of hangars and their location (hook type early, bar type late)

Lots of corrado bits... Pics now added to the thread

hey, are the indicators early or late design? -
hmm how difficult is it to convert from the early hook to a later bar type hangar? would it be better to modify the underside of the car of the exhaust itself? thinking of purchasing your 2 box system coullstar but the early 1.8 exhaust looks fairly different to the 2.0 or vr6 exhausts on venomsport..

yeah, i'm fancying a change from my original steering wheel :D that all sounds good to me, and i do appreciate the honesty keen to get this wheel so if you can hang on to it for 4 more weeks i'll give you the asked £50 rather than bartering - how's that with you? am spending a day or two in bournemouth around the 20th of may with the gf - so i can collect then :) anywhere you'd reccomend eating around the seafront?
-
loved reading this - great work being done here. maybe a short shift mod solve the problem with the dash clearance?
-
that's the badger! cheers guys, sorted
-
hey craig, i'd be coming down to bournemouth around the 20th of may.. is this wheel leather trimmed?
-
got my stuff today, cheers for the quick delivery the only problem is I can't quite work out where the toolbox attaches.. any tips? :D
-
can't work out what the box attaches to! it currently just floats around in the boot...
-
if anyone is thinking of selling a decent exhaust that would fit a 1.8 16v send me a pm ;) my currrent standard/bosal/supersprint combo badly needs replacing if it's going to get through it's next MOT..
-
£12 posted seems fair to me - does PayPal suit you? PM me with details :)
-
any idea if there's meant to be a trim on the inside edge of the boot (not the tailgate)?
-
I'll take the grey boot carpet + the tool box cover thanks - how much do you want for postage?
-
cheers for the replies, doesn't appear to be leaking and doesn't affect the assistance so i'll leave it for now. that's a fair point joby, considering it's survived 21 years it's more than entitled to a few groans from time to time :D
-
mine's been making a straining noise since i've had the C, easily heard over the engine noise when pulling out of a parking space for example. it doesn't sound like belt squeal and there's no jerking in the assistance. more like a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah noise.... haha I've taken the pump off to check the tiny gauze filter (which was clear), put new V-belts on it, and washed the system through with new fluid and it's still making just a much noise.. might be time for a refurbished pump, but then i've been told that hydraulic PAS pumps were always noisy - so perhaps there's actually no problem? How noisy is your PAS pump?
-
welcome to the forum! 1.8 16v in definitely the best corrado to go for ;)
-
i've got a spare set so might give all red a go... which bulbs do you guys recommend? are the reversing lights ever going to be white
-
don't suppose you've got a PAS pump?
-
