there's a air ride kit on eBay atm being sold by landady1o DO NOT BID ON IT. The kit is broken an cant be fixed. The oil seals he is talken about are built into the struts and cant be removed. I'm the idiot in the ad he's on about . He wasn't gonna refund me my money till PayPal stepped in and thats why he won't take payment through PayPal.

ive recenetly developed a strange noise. it only seems to happen when driving above 25mph and gets to a set volume and then doesnt get any louder regardless of speed. its not engine noise cause i can drop it out of gear and it will still continue. its not offected by turning as far as i can tell its just there. Only way i can describe it is its the same sorta noise your exhaust makes but at a different pitch. that low sorta grown. i thought it might have been the wheel bearing at first so ive changed that and its still there. anyone got any ideas????

what tyres do people have on 9j alloys? ive got 205/40/16 on the rear and im scraping even after having my archs pulled. -
Well after attempting a VR6 conversion and it going horribly wrong i thought it best to cut my losses and just buy a VR6. After a quick look on ebay found one in wales so snatched it up swapped some parts from the the 1.8. Put on some new alloys and had my archs pulled along with a new paint job and here she is :D Standard poke is terrible 8J alloys and 10mm spacers soon sorted that out (photo is without spacers) Couldnt be done with the horrible red steering wheel off the 1.8 so retrimmed it using stick tape for now Back windows tinted so no little odiots can see inside Its alwasys nice to have people guessing what car it is so thought id make it a little harder for them Front license plater recess smoothed off and a little air brushing done

Is it possible to replace the strut oil seal?? ive just bought air ride suspension and the front struts are both dead. ones stiff and probibly just needs topping up with oil or gas and the other one needs a new oil seal putting in.

I was over a few days ago and it looks good so far. Dash is mostly held in with cable ties apprently and needs moving over slightly to make it sit even on the door cards but looking at it you'd think it was meant to be there. Looks spot on just needs to hurry up and get it out an about now.

Corrado G60 or VR6 Front brake calipers and carriers for 280mm discs
mattyattitude replied to 16vmk1's topic in Wanted
I've got a g60 setup front and back if your wanting a 4 stud fitment only thing you'll need to get his hoses and front brake pads. -
o yea sorry yea the part you showed me the pic of is fine, i got slightly confused which side is which so im gonna send you both then i know you got the right part, pm your adress and hopefully ill get them sent out tomorrow night
-
I've just stripped mine down and that's the part that's broke on mine NRC the cable doesn't come off unless it's snapped off which is sadly what's happened to both of mine.
-
Have no idea what it's worth so just put a price on to follow guidelines. Everything under the bonnet is included ie engine, gearbox, fans, radiator, ecu etc Mileage is unknown cause the mileage stopped working in the speedo but does have some service history filed away if I remember correctly.
-
I'll have a go getting it out tomorrow after work then price it up Tuesday and let you know.
-
Well I've had a look at mine there and the parts I assume are the ones in your picture look fine so if you want it it's yours as I don't need it.

Complete engine was fully working except gear linkages when removed from My car. Was selling to a mate but he's bought a house and no longer can afford it. Looking for £200 Ono. I have a engine crane to lift it to a trailer.
-
I was upgrading my brakes while doing a conversion to a vr6 but couldn't get it started. So for sale i have everything for a full conversion to 280mm brake disc while keeping the 4 stud fitment. Only parts I don't have are front bearings which are cheap enough off eBay. Front disc and pads are brand new Looking for around £350 Ono Collection preferred or arrange own carrier

I've got A rear bench you can have thinks it's all alright apart from the hump strap is cut and you might need the bracket off your old one.
