Could be sign, just looked at there website and they have just retrimmed a lotus esprit S1 which is one of my other cars lol

Are they still around and doing retrims?

No it was a set on Facebook I found

Well I now have my heated Recaros just my VDO gauges, bbs lm wheels and vsr manifold to get!! Plus a small fortune on other parts

Who did the Leather retrim in your car?

You thinking £1000 tho or £2000

What would people say is acceptable money for nice cloth recaros

I didn’t bid as they don’t have door cards, loom or heated seat loom and switches and they are damaged and would need repair retrimming but think I have found some now anyway :) Ross

Nice low mileage car and pretty rare swing any Corrado in white

Seen a couple of sets of standard leather for £600/700 with heated seats which I’d be happy with for a good set

I am looking for a set of recaros for my corrado but have to say I have a Passat b5.5 and got recaros out a w8 and they are no where near as comfy as the standard Passat seats and I have heard it’s the same with the corrado recaros too.

I’m really wanting black leather recaros but would settle for black leather at present

Yeh true that’s what I keep trying to tell myself, kicking myself I didn’t buy N100VSR for £8000 when on PistonHeads as will still want Leather, VDO gauges and a VSR manifold

Unfortunately the cylinder head is knackered and some cylinders had water in them and requires a rebore to sort this so I’m told :( that the big part of the cost.

Unfortunatley it looks like it could be a £5k plus bill to get it back on the road keeping the engine

Hey all, I worked for Volkswagen back in the day just as the last Corrados had been sold and released. Always a car I loved and always hankered for one even. I’m not at a Stage I own a couple of cars and had been looking for a Grey Corrado for a while and eventually one came up after replying to my wanted add. Only issue it had a blown head gasket and was in the Channel Islands. I bought the car and got it brought to Stealth Racing and Vince was going to sort that and a couple of other things. Unfortunately I had been ripped off the head gasket that I was told had just went a couple of months before appears not to have been left like that for a couple of years :( The car does have some good things going for it, it’s pretty much rust free but has some scuffs and dents, 1 previous owner and 1 trader, only 79k and full service history.

Damn you, I was trying to get the VSR Manifold with the wanted add too. Oh well fingers crossed I get next one. At least your car is a minter so makes me feel a little better

Yeh did offer to buy the full car also but someone else bet me to it after I think I was given the heads up
