hi im in the process of overhauling all suspension components not because there all shot just for piece of mind that there all new and good. however the rear bush bolt in the wishbone is seized in, front came out ok ive soaked in wd40 numerous nights tried rust off ice i know if i pull on the breaker bar anymore it will definatly shear and the result would be lets say catastrophic. Cant really get heat on it either due to the base of the bolt being covered also smacked it with a hammer to free but no joy. Anyone got any ideas??

Yeah it defenatly lightens it up the inside compared to the black cloth seats which used to be in. I also plumbed in the heated part of the seats it's fantastic I've never had heated seats before. Had a bit of trouble though Both the backrest elements had came unsoldered at the joins on both seats sorted that out With help from the Bentley manual wiring diagram, quite easy to read that manual very helpful.

Thanks people. I had the grey carpets too which i could have put in but thought I should just keep with the black, think it was the right choice.

Great build going on, I'll be keeping an eye on this one! Fantastic paint the DBP always seems to look better on other peoples cars!

My plans are to just get it really clean and tidy, it's got and couple of paint imperfections where peeling lacquer has been repaired to a fashion and a car park dint on the passenger door I'm gonna sort very soon. As for the engine I'll leave it apart from the air filter keep swapping from standard box to the K&N cone can't decide which I prefer, well scorpion exhaust too which is ok but wouldn't mind a standard or magnex. I'm always on the look out for a rare set of alloys it's already nicely lowered on spax.

Thanks, it got grey leather seats and door cards in mint condition which ive recently fitted, which replaced the worn black cloth seats. Carpet and dash are black need to get some pics though will do soon.

Hi all ive had my corrado for over a year now but haven't got round to starting a thread so here it is. Ive done various maintenance jobs on it full service, pads and discs all round, coolant flush, gearbox oil change, sunroof repair, heater thermal fuse repair, wheel refurb loads of other bit and bobs too. yeah ive already had a play around with that but didn't seem to make a difference. it does lock in place when i shut it and i cant pull it up just when i go fast. ill give it another go though cheers.

hi all when i hi 80mph+ the driver side latch comes loose and i can see the bonnet flapping on that side SCAREY. the main release latch is ok and the small passenger side latch stays closed. Ive cleaned it all up and re-greased, its all nice and free. Im wondering if it needs a new latch anyoe else had this problem?? thanks Guy

I got caught up in some kind of race with one one a few weeks ago he came from behind, slowed down next to me then accelerated past me i was'nt ready and unprepared in my vr6 in was furious and wounded. I hate people who drive them things now its a crappy ford might be fast but still cheap crap.

My water temps usually 70-80 max got a low temp thermostat in fans come on a low temp. Oil usually 95 when driving boring.

I've just put the standard airbox back on with the paper filter this week and cannot believe the the difference it's made to my mpg I'm now hitting 32-34 mpg on short around town commutes not even been on the motorway yet. These are figures I've never seen on my mfa with that RAM air cone inside the engine bay. The power is still there it's just quieter and nicer. It's defenatly changed my readings alot and for the best. Maybe due to the ram air bringing in to much air and also very hot air at times messing up the mixture with the MAF sensor.

Hi I'm after a standard vr6 exhaust in good nick or any other decent ss exhausts anyone might need rid of. Just asking the question before I shell out mega bucks for a new one need to get rid of this scorpion rattler. Just the two back pieces really thanks.

them 8 miles are slow probably no over 40mph dukest, sounds about right then but a bit low on higher average.

Hi I've got a question about my vr6 I've had a scan about but couldn't really find the answer. From cold on my mfa 1 it will take about 8 miles for the mpg to reach around 23-26 from 0. The mfa 2 is always on 23ish mpg I can get up to about 28 on the motorway. I'm not really bothered about the high readings just wanna know if that's how long it should take to rise to it's peak just seems a bit long to get up. Is this how all the vr's are? Thanks Guy

So its just for fault codes then ok. I'll just get in touch with the local volunteer in manchester see if their interested. Cheers for that

I'll probably get one then for that price, there's nothing majorly wrong just want to scan it and do a basic reset is stalled twice in two months. Cheers for that guys.

Hi all been looking at these cheap vagcom setups on eBay there only about a tenner for disc and lead are they a load of rubbish or do they do the job? Can anybody enlighten me cheers.
