1. Any progress on this one? Would like to see more of the car, hopefully back on the road 🙂
2. :bonk: Thanks! I was just wondering because I've never seen such antistatic package before on a car part! For your all info: now also advertised in The Netherlands... I think 135 pounds would be good for a rare part like this one?
3. No problem! :thumbleft: Have a question: is the one sold by KEYO packaged the same way as mine as shown in the pictures?
4. How long would the Corrado be allowed on the road? Here in Holland from 2030 onwards all new cars should be electric, and more and more (bigger) cities are excluding them from traffic from that period on aswell…. How long does it take before a Corrado becomes a museum object which will only drive very rarely?
5. I don't know, some pieces also increase in value due to rarity. I've noticed these sensors are also on a lot of LHD cars like Golf VR6 and Passat and such. In fact it's weird that such a important part of a widely used brake system is already since 2010 out of stock. But you do not have a C VR6 Original exhaust system?
6. Do you also have a VR6 Original muffler middle and end part ? What value would you rate this sensor at?
7. Thanks for your reply. I don't about it's value, seems to be quite rare original new at least. Found the part, here are some pictures. Sold by VW in 2008, I bought it on UK ebay in 2010. Seems brandnew to me, although I've never seen such topshield electrostatic packaging before from VW. What is your opinion?
8. Hi folks, As far as my administration of parts is correct, somewhere I have a brandnew Brandnew OEM ABS pedal position sensor, part no 357927810 in my parts collection. Am I correct this one is only suitable for right hand drive versions? As I noticed, it's obselete for almost 10 years, what should it be worth? Regards, Gerben
9. Here are my 2 C's VR6... Photo shot for a magazine earlier this year
10. hi all, I have available to sell the front seats and rear seats of a 8-1994 Corrado VR6. As it is from Holland, your driver's seat is our passenger seat and like new! So not worn. The passenger seat (seen from your side) is not very good anymore. But this could be a nice set for someone with worn driver's seat and/or someone willing to place a 2 seat rear side (VR6). No door panels included. I don't know if anyone interested in this? Regards, Gerben
11. In the Netherlands... near Utrecht  Do you have a seat as well ? There is a good chance I will once enjoy beautiful England and pickup at the same time :thumbleft: if shipping too expensive
12. No thanks, I only need passenger seats...
13. Looking for 2 Corrado passenger seats... black cloth 1994-1995 and the new type creme leather (best from 1995) Who can help me on that ?

Overcooling

@VeenixTwin: also replaced the 3 sensors in thermosthouse and the switch in de radiator? @24V Renshaw: no fans ‘looks like’ it’s working fine. However, before winterstop, when my car always ran on 90 degree, the after-run fan was always starting up, running for 6 seconds, stopped. Then 10 seconds later again and again and again… could that be an indication for anything? Before the winterstop my Corrado also ran always on 90 degree, that’s why I ‘m not content with the current situation… Is there any change that all 4 sensors (3 in thermostathouse and 1 in radidator) are weared and rubbish over the years and now ‘switch’ at higher temps then what they are specced/required to do? So…. - my water is – at drive - actually 90 but gauge is showing 75 due to the delay in the gauge temp sensors - And when is is actually 105 – but gauge is showing 90 – then the fan is coming in due to the delay in the radiator temp switch - For the ecu sensor nothing visible but maybe switching too late to the status ‘engine warm’ for other fuel injection? Is this theory possible? Could be tested by renewing just 1 of the sensors (the gauge one for instance) isn’t it? By the way, heater is working fine, also on the highway with 75 degree on the gauge. My coolant was really rubbish when it came off the car. I flushed the system (Wynn’s cooling flush) and put new G12+ in. Hope to hear your responses. Regards gurby

Overcooling

Hi, Any update on this? I'm having exactly the same issue with my '94 black VR6. Renewed thermostat (+ housing) twice, a new blue header tank cover is placed. All without effect. Please help?
16. These are called kneepads... all Corrado's with airbags (only optional in modelyear 1995) had them, and all US corrado's.
17. I also like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6bD1aoXHkw And, I like the standard suspension. It's just good.
18. And, after the presentation of my black 1994 Corrado, here is my proud: This is my very special full options '95-er Corrado VR6 S-Modell. It has all of the following: - 2 Airbags - Beige Connolly Leather interior with heated seats - Airco - Cruisecontrol - Radio gamma with cd changer and cassette holder - Headlamp washers - Sunroof - Alarm system - Brands hatch wheels - Winterpacket - 100% VW dealer maintained - 100% original The car has been firstly owned by family Karmann ( until march 2008 ), all papers are included to prove this. The car has been imported to The Netherlands in 2003 (where mw S.Karmann lives) and she gave it to the owner of a VW garage when buying a new VW Polo in 2008. I bought it from the VW Garage owner 28-Sep-2011. Given the fact that the last produced Corrado has chassisnumber ending with 4044, my C here (3827) is one of the latest produced Corrados. It has ran only 130.825kms and is in a very good condition. The car is cleaned and in wintersleep right now. New and better pictures will follow somewhere next year. Some pictures. But sorry I don't have much good pictures because I bought it, placed it in the garage and didn't drive with it. Next summer I hoop to make some good pictures :-) In Germany ownership of Wilhelm Karmann GmbH geweest... Also in the Netherlands owned by (married) mw Karmann... In 2008 when the new Scirocco was presented, the old Scirocco and 'my' Corrado where in a Dutch VW showroom side by side with the new Scirocco. A picture of this: And, it is EXACTLY the same Corrado as the one in the Karmann Collection, the very latest produced Corrado: Sorry better pictures this summer :-))
19. On the 4th pictures you'll see the standard, basic VW Gamma radio. Later on i placed a Gamma radio with support for CD changer (also original - optional - for the 94 and 95 Corrado's), this radio can you see in the picture further below. I plugged a MP3/WMA usb/sd-card player into it. It makes the radio think it's an cd-changer but actually it plays the digital music files. It's working great, good sound quality! Bought them both on eBay. When buyin gthis Gamma radio with CD changer support, keep in mind there are multiple versions (blue or green light en Nokia active sound and normal speaker support).
20. Thanks for your reply! I'll send you a private message!
21. Hereby a more detailed posting about my 1994 Corrado: It's my first Corrado. It is one of the last Modelyear 1994 Corrado's, it's brilliant black LA9V and already ran almost 390.000km's. But the engine has been replaced at 250.000km's so running smoothly. The car does not have much options, only the usual default VR6 stuff and a sunroof and something on the back of the car to pull caravans and other stuff (how is this called :bonk:) Some pictures of the car: (some are taken with phone sorry for bad quality) pics from 2010 (year of buy) Some new parts placed in spring 2011 Some pics from summer 2011 Replacing rvs exhaust for a original one New - original - fuel lines have been placed after taking this picture... Currently, it needs a new thermostat (I think) because cooling system only reaches 70grades currently. Except for good maintenance I have one wish and that is to fix the damaged driver's seat after that much kilometers :-) I placed a topic for that, hopefully someone of you guys is willing to assyst? Anyway, there's always something to work on with a C :-))
22. Stripping a UK passenger cloth seat (1994/1995) and ship the cloth to me in Holland? Offcourse I'll pay. Because my drivers seat is very worn and at your side of the ocean it's the passenger seat :-) But the shipment costs for a complete seat are very large, so if someone wants to take the cloth off and ship only that.. ? I've seen, for example, this one near Derby/Nottingham: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250978896275 Maybe it's a strange question but we can help each other this ways.. ?
