West Midlands Rolling Road Day Feeler...?
Toohottotrot replied to Jim's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Could it be in the afternoon, on a sunny day at the end of the year but only when it rains, and not a school holiday or thanks giving. Definitley not on my grans birthday and preferably a day with a "Y" in it? Other than that I will be there on the arranged day, unless I have something more important that day! Appologies in advance.....just couldn't help myself! -
It's a pig ugly little fecker! Why would you do that to a Corrado? If you wanted a small estate VW built something called a Golf! It looks like an Austin Allegro estate......why would you do that!? Look at one on here.......and an ugly Porsche 928 estate! http://pistonheads.co.uk/xforums/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=625168&i=0

The Ford RS 2000 is a sports saloon! Corrado is a sports coupe. Triumph Spitfire is a soft top sports car, yes it's slow but not that slow at the time. Audi quattro turbo is a sports coupe, so is the S2. Boot/trunk = saloon/ sedan Sloping back with boot or hatch = coupe Lift up tailgate = hatch back Longer car with hatch = Estate/ station waggon Any of the above with a performance engine......sports.......saloon, hatch, coupe, estate....... That's the way I see it ;)

It's a coupe and not a "hot hatch" as it has a sloping back, it's built for performance no matter which engine is fitted. So it's a sports coupe, what else could it be?!!!!

For sale section in need of a tidy up

I think that in return for being able to advertise on here, people should show their apreciation and at least up date their advert to say sold! It only takes a minute or two. And it would save me wasting my time on things that are sold. Putting your email in an advert would be a big help too! -
Most people reckon the auxilliary water pump does bugger all anyway. I would replace it if it were me though and it looks a simple job. The main water pump is a different "kettle" of fish and not in the same area even, so it's not as if it's a case of "while it's dismantled." Main pump is a pain as you have to unbolt two engine mounts and lift one side around 2 inches, I reckon I could do one in an hour though.

Nothing wrong with the 500......Smart car yes but not the 500! The retro styling looks good and the Abarth models are very cool! As for the Ferrari version......£40 odd k second hand, now that's madness!!!!! -
Ebay is a good place, there have been many valvers on there recently. Save the search and you will get them emailed most days. Lots of reasonable ones for around the £2k mark.

Got mine yesterday, dashboard dimmer feels much smoother than the original. Thanks Matt :) -
I don't know why I don't hate this Corrado more than I do!

If the driver dragged it and damaged it, he'd better have his insurance up to date! -
Always been one of my best chat up lines that! ;)

A Nugget won't do you any good! We were on the M6 motorway in the MX5.....(sunburst yellow), I'm in the middle lane in an area where the 3rd lane peels off and rejoins half a mile later. A woman in a big estate car, in the fast lane suddenly swerves left accross the hatched devide whilst along side us! I had the Mazda sideways at 80mph to avoid her! I chased after her and when I got along side her she refused to look at me........"mouthing" the word sorry would have gone a long way! -
I reckon the pleasure outweighs the pain of surgically extracting cash from the bank! Welcome fellow Corrado/ Mx5 owner! :)

It's been for sale for a while now. Is it better than a Schrick?

If they are in the wrong section they may get moved, sometimes they have already been covered. A search usually reveals, I tend to use just one key word in the search box, or use google and click on the answers from corrado.net. If you ask by starting a new thread and it's already covered some kind soul will point you toward it! ;) Mj
