Hi all As you all know I am new to owning a corrado. I am replacing the wiring loom due to a mishap and when I phone for parts the first question from anyone is if the car is OBD 1 or OBD 2. What is the difference? I take it OBD2 is a better system and if it is can I upgrade my car to OBD 2 or is it a big job. Ryan

Cheers for the reply guys. I have had some track cars that you were able to adjust the camber etc on the rear just to give it a better feel round the track. I think at the moment I will stick with the adjustable front end as I may have to change the rear beam anyway. The car has had a slight knock and the rear passenger side wheel is tucked in slightly. I have another question....Is the corrado meant to be four stud as I have five stud wheels or is it because it has the audi 320mm brakes fitted that it has been changed over.... Ryan

Hi all I picked up sean jaymos old vr6 yesterday and it is a nice car but needs a little work done on it. The dashboard is out because he had an electrical problem that resulted in some melted wiring. It has a new fusebox sitting but needs the loom replaced or repaired. What I was wondering though is I have a wiring loom the was removed from a mk3 golf gti cabrio. Would that fit or do I specifically need a corrado wiring loom. Cheers Ryan

its not that I want one I was just wondering if there was one or is it pretty well setup on the rear end. I had a camber/ caster system built up for my mk1 before breaking it but then I had changed it from beam to wishbones. Thats good with the wishbones as I have a full mk3 gti front end in my garage. Does it need longer drive shafts though? The wishbones are ones that I have designed and built for my mk1 but the design only requires minimal changes for fitment between cars. Tuning and setting up a corrado for track is all new to me as I have never owned one before.

Hi all I am new to owning a corrado and plan to use it for track days. I was wondering what setup people are running and how they find it. The car has kw v1 coilovers which I will keep for the moment and it has 17" alloys which I would have liked to swap for 15" but I believe the brakes will stop me from doing this. With regards to widening the track on the front end what is required to do this? and I take it theres only spacers that can be fitted on the rear? Also I see you can get the yellow and purple polybushes for the car but not the red poly race ones or can you and I just haven't spotted them? My plans suspension wise are the full car poly bushed, on the front it will have adjustable top mounts, adjustable wishbones, uprated anti roll bar(any recommendations) and upper and lower strut braces. At the rear though all I can see to do is uprate the arb and fit a strut brace(neuspeed) unless there is a camber/castor kit for the rears? That is what's planned anyway cheers Ryan

who owes you car parts....... I am hopefully going to have it running by the time stonor park comes round. Its great having a new toy. I have started lining parts up for it already. If I can I would like to make it to the nurburgring in august as I believe it has been round there already.

Hi all I live just outside wallingford and yes it is sean jaymos old car. I work beside him and he just happened to mention he had one and I offered to buy it off him. Hopefully I will pick it up tomorrow and spend the weekend on it trying to get it running again. I already have a stack of questions mainly regarding suspension and handling which I will be posting up shortly. Is there many meets in the area as I wouldn't mind meeting up and see other peoples cars Ryan

Hello everyone My name is Ryan and I thought I would introduce myself as I will probably make good use of the forum. I have bought a k plate vr6 in atlas grey with 160000miles on the clock but lots of history. It has been looked after with the bodywork nice and straight and the engine slightly tuned. The previous owner had fitted a set of 17" bbs alloys, stainless steel exhaust, audi s3 brakes and some fk coilovers. It has some electrical gremlins as he has fitted an audi dashboard but that is getting swapped back to the original. Now is the point people start hating me as this is going to be my track car......I have some good plans for it and will be posting them up on the forum along with lots of questions. I will post pics up in a bit See you all for now Ryan
