I'm sure I read 50 somewhere - 20 seems awfully small - you do see autos for sale fairly frequently. Anyone ever driven an auto VR?

It's funny - I've got a book with the initial reviews of the Corrado - comparing it to:- Fiat Coupe Alfa GTV Calibra MR2 Celica and most reviews thought the Corrado would date the worst and didn't like it's styling - one even said it looked like it was designed by an 8yr old!

Sounds good - I'm gonna go for a respray in the next couple of years - have already started saving!

Are you going for the chrome or body coloured badging then?

Yeah Walesy - Jay's came to mind for me too when I started this thread. I want to see what people's imaginary 2006 top of the range Corrado would be kitted out with.

Ok guys - here's my idea, This isn't a design a new Corrado thread! It's this - if the Corrado came out this year for the first time - what would it be like? Some rules:- 1 - Basic Chassis shape should remain pretty much the same - but maybe with new trim or blingy pieces added! 2 - It must remain true to the new VW range So if you guys wanna photoshop how the Corrado would be marketed and what the interior would look like (you're free to do whatever here) then go for it. I'm interested in what you come up with - the Corrado was way ahead of it's time in the late 80s with all it's gizmo's - what would it be like today? Hope I'm making sense - I've had a couple. :drinking: Cheers

Cheers for the comments guys - gonna do my interior LEDS all red now and think I'll change the front splitter for the smaller one. I like the look of the in-pro angel eyes too.

No chance - he'd destroy me. Was quite good though - he gave me a hand fitting them the other night and he had a wee go of the VR - for old time sake - his Black Magic VR6 was lovely! Was good catching up. Audi is a nailer though! 8) So if I changed the 90mm splitter for the 50mm one and sprayed my grill and changed the plate - do you think I'd fool folk that it was a Storm? :lol:
