Can I have pictures of the door cards, handbrake handle and gear knob please? [email protected] -
Sent text RE: cards and gearknob - plus handbrake gubbins.

But it looks crap.... Does nobody do a nice leather handle and gaitor or anything similar?
-
Is there anyway to make the handbrake look a bit more presentable? Mine did have a little leather sheath that was knackered so I pulled that off, its currently just a nasty exposed plastic handle and the rectangle plastic cover is broke do I've ditched that. I bought a leather gaitor off ebay but it didnt fit at all, was very loose on the handle so had to zip tie it. Is there anything that fits nice or from another VW?

Need a pair of fronts or just a RHD drivers side front. In black, early style please!

Cheers! I'll give it a go when I get some free time, just need to make my peace with the awful radio loom thats been spliced to buggery!

Nothing inside the door pods, it's an early corrado, different from the later ones! Guess I'll get the mdf templates measured and cut up and secure them directly to the door. I take it I can take the feed from the dash speakers and run them to the doors without many problems? I was planning on mouting the individual tweeters behind the dash grills.... Will that sound alright?

Hi everyone. Just got my 1990 16v, it came without a headunit and front speakers so I immediately thought that someone had ripped them out before selling. After a quick investigation it looks like there are no fixing/mounting points to have door speakers. How do you get around this? Do I need to make something out of mdf or is there a nice little VW part I can buy?

Will 15x7 ET20 on front and 15x8 ET15 on rear be okay with 195/45's?

I expect so too, but I'm looking forward to a quiet, smooth ride :) ---------- Post added at 12:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:29 PM ---------- Also when can I post in the classified section? Cheers.

Can't find 1 years insurance for under £1000, help!
dave_c replied to Pat_McCrotch's topic in Insurance
Just got a quick quote for one, I'm 23 with 3 years NCB and it was £1050 :( - I do have a ban under my belt though. -
Best colour I reckon, looks real tidy. ABS sensors can be a pain to remove if they are corroded in, just need to be careful with the stator ring as they're usually pretty fragile!

Car looks good, awesome job on the cleaning... amazing how clean you can make a 15+ year old car.

What offset roughly looks the best on Corrado's. I'm looking at buying a '90 so I understand these are 4x100? Will ET20 sit okay? I'm prepared to do some arch work but am not familiar with how far out they will poke. Any help appreciated!

Been loving Corrado's for ages now and have finally plucked up the courage to buy. I'm only after a 1.8 16v (for insurance reasons) and have noticed one in the for sale section not too far away from me. I'm used to driving a Mk1 Turbo MX5, roughly 240bhp at the wheels and was looking to buy a MK1 Golf Cabby. As I've missed the summer I thought this would be a bad choice through the winter so Corrado here I come!
