Hi just wondered if anyone could give me any advice on the running of my VR6. Engine seems to be "bucking" whilst cruising along and when i try to push the engine over 4000rpm the engine doesnt seem to respond. Acceleration is fine almost all of the time until it reaches 4000rpm then seems to bottom out. This has decreased the mpg and cant seem to get it over 23mpg! Any ideas on what the problem may be? Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers Simon

Hi am looking for the heated rear windscreen for early 16v Cheers :)

I definitely disagree with emu. I use my vr6 as a daily runner and i am averaging around 25mpg, and thats with me having a heavy foot on the accelerator! The only costs you really need to bare in mind is the insurance and some of the maintenance bills can be pretty hefty. And as for my 16v its just as good on the mpg and very low maintenance if looked after properly!

Hi do you have the hub assembly & bearing for N/S/F, antiroll bar link and shock absorber? Thanks Simon

Hi guys managed to hit a massive pot hole yesterday :( Seems to have slightly bent the wheel arm leaving the wheel slightly tilting outwards :s Took it to the garage today to see if it was safe to drive, thankfully it is but needs to be repaired ASAP. Just wondering if anyone knew how much it would roughly cost to change the wheel arm on the front passenger side, just so I dont get ripped off at the garage when i take it in! A bit of advice would be greatly appreciated Cheers Simon

Hi Trevor think I will pass on the elec mech, want to keep the car as original as possible. Are you selling the clocks at all. If so what is the mileage on it? Thanks Simon -

Hi Trevor I am interested in the window mech for the drivers door (if its not electric windows) how much for postage? Cheers Simon -
Try and find window wind mechanism for my 16v as the cable has snapped. Also find new speedometer, and micro switch for central locking. Also need to sort out the numerous rust spots, then put it through an MOT! Also need to find new power steering pump for my VR6 and sort out oil leak :( Its going to be an expensive new year :s
