Only seen 3 so far in northampton, a red one, think it was a 16v, a black vr6 round the corner from me and a green one i saw getting on the m1 at junction 15 the other day, didn't get the model as he flew off onto the m1 at quite a pace!

Ok, cheers. Got to visit the parts dept at vw soon, so i'll see how much they charge as well.
-
Cheers. Do you know how much GPC are charging?

Cheers, thought i was imagining it! :) . Is it the 16v model that has this spoiler?
-
Does one of the corrado models have a smaller front spoiler? Think i remember reading something about this, but can't be sure though. Mines a g60. Cheers.

I've been getting quite a lot of cars that, as soon as i have passed them in the outside lane, will immediatally pull out and try to 'race me'. . The thing is they all seem to be bog standard escorts etc, nothing fast. Good fun sometimes though, when i floor it and lose them! :) It's as if they resent me passing them for some reason. :?

Just wondering what anyone thinks of the mk 5 golf. I think it looks pretty good, although i read it's bigger than the mk4. Just keeps on getting bigger each mk! Anyone think it's lost it's appeal, can't help thinking they did a great job with the mk1 and 2 and that they have more appeal. I realise that the build quality will be superior than the mk1 and 2, but i think it's just become a rep mobile, or am i being too harsh!! :D

Started using mine as a daily driver a few weeks back and it's been great. Car is so easy to drive and feels solid as well. Keep on going the long way home because it's great to drive, especially as i have more power now. Can't imagine getting bored of it. :)

Cheers Darren :D . Totally forgot how to do it  .

Hi, i'm going to run a cold air feed from where the carbon canister was to my airbox on my g60. Just a couple of questions- how big should i make the hole in the airbox? do i just drill a hole and enlarge it using a hacksaw? what do i use to bond the tube to the airbox? anyone got any pictures of this mod? Sorry if these questions are a bit simple, but i just want to do it right. Cheers. :D

It's a little wild isn't it! :D . I can appreciate the work involved to get it to look like that. Definate 80's look to it! :) -

Found this one whilst surfing once, can't remember what site it was on though. I'm not usually a big fan of bodykitted corrado's, but this one i thought looked pretty amazing. What does anyone else think? -
close........NSU had the R80 in the late 60's early 70's with a "wankel" engine...........NSU eventually became audi........but IIRC mazda have had wankel engines on the go for a lot longer than the RX7 has been out.......in fact i'm pretty sure from the early 60's mazda had a rotary engined motor  Cheers for the reply vr6storm, i just couldn't remember it right! :)
-
I am probably very wrong, but i remember reading an article ages ago about this kind of engine being made buy audi years ago, i think in the 70's. It didn't work very well though if i remember correctly, then mazda took the idea and made it work. Again sorry if i am way off, but for some reason i thought it was audi.

Great car! Cool colour, wheels and brakes look great.

I like colour coded door handles, or ' handle ' as in my case! here's a picture of mine, sorry it's not very close up.

I usually read PVW, which is a good mag, but needs more Corrado's in. :) . Up until i got my c, i used to read vw motoring which is great mag, it's not a boy racers mag and covers the whole vw scene, but because of this not many Corrado's in as well. I haven't got anything against golfs, but when you haven't got one anymore gets a little boring when the majority of articles in some mags are just about them. Maybe i should join the Corrado club and get there magazine. :)
