on the way to get my tracking sorted today. massive bang and the car nearly puts me in a ditch. get it to the garage and the front sub frame is completely corroded. is this a check in the mot because it passed 4 months ago with no advisory’s. the car has barely done 1500 miles since the mot. does anyone have one for sale, do VW do new ones or am i up **** creek?

Been geting a strainge noise when in right hand lock. sounds like im taking a corner at 100. im sure its not my wheel bearing or brakes. it also will go days without doing it then come back. a friend of mine suggested maybe a fault with the power steering. if anyone knows anything that may be helpfull it will be appreciated. there seems to be no clicking form the solenoid I had a good look about and found this wire disconnected but cant find where it connects into. im not sure if its something after market because all the original wiring seems to have plugs not spade connectors. a mates bringing a multimeter round later as all my tools are in Portsmouth [ATTACH=CONFIG]59569[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]59573[/ATTACH]

it will bump start lights and wipers work ok. no sound when turning it over. possibly starter motor or ignition switch any ideas ??

have just recived a boost presure gauge in the post with drivers side vent mountings am going to try and fit tonight does anyone have an idea of wear to wire them up. its a digital gauge so im gessing im going to need a constent power source would the cigeret lighter be effecent ? Matt

After fiting my headlight loom and removing the headlights it seems quite a bad place to have an air intake. Would removing the carbon cainster be the best way to go. Im looking for beter performance but i dont it to be stuipidly louded. just want to here a few opinions before i go cuting things up. cheers Matt

excellent build quality and good service from zak. just fitted mine and what a difference very bright even with the standard bulbs. hardest part was getting the drivers side headlamp off the middle screw was F***ed so the drill had to come out :/ will upload some pictures at some point trying to get a bit of a build thread together before i post it.

only had my G60 a few weeks, lovly to drive in the day however at night it seems i didnt eat enough carrots as a child. Can anyone point me in the direction of an uprated lighting loom? or a how 2 guid that would be much appreciated cheers Matt

cheers for that ill look them up its all original apart from a miltek exhaust. going to do the cambelt as im not sure when it was last done had a service in Spetember so think im going to crack on with the air intake so i can run a stage 4 charger. just going to run it for few months and see if anything annoys me and go from there.

have you still got the charger ? if so whats its condition ??

went and had a look at her yesterday, was a 7 hour round trip but worth every minuet. bodywork was very good and solid underneath. engine ran nice and smoothly engine bay was clean no oil or coolant leaking. took her for a test drive and was blown away my first time driving a G60 and i loved it, handled well no pulling to the side on breaking or pulling off. breaks were good only downside is that using the guide to test the charger i found it to be running at about 70%. am hoping to rectify that ASAP if anyone can recommend somewhere good as supercharges reconditioning is a bit out of my depth although i would like to learn to save myself a few quid down the line. i am looking to buy my first corrado. found a nice G60 on the internet. what other than the obvious things do i need to look for. for example supercharger issues and corrado specific problems
