  3. So im lead to believe... did stealth provide the parts and / or just the labour.. how much if you don't mind me asking.

i was looking to get my chains done so at the same time thought with gearbox out might as well rebuild and add a bit of poke

i got the peloquin myself picked it up new for £457 delivered from a uk supplier

also had mounts uprated and clutch so it was all priced up as one job not sure what the breakdown is

i think the gearbox rebuild /fd parts are near 300 then add labour on top say around 8 hours

Will bring my VR6 so you can remember just how plain your once looked!

Hey Del safe, fit some wheels, lower it, add rear lights and a grille... job done: look forward to seeing yours mate dont ever see any corrados my way only at the shows

    Looks awesome bro...

thanx bro gotta try and keep up with your paintwork havent seen your ride for time now

  4. Nice car Bobby. Didnt really get to have a proper look around it yesterday as it was parked up in your garage, and it was peeing it down.

That colour is awesome! Car's got a wicked stance too. Agree that the black wheels only really look good on black cars. Be good to see it again properly.

Might see you Sunday. My VR needs a good run.

    easy del, thanks

your old skool merc was cool and a good find, nice n tidy

see you sunday if you make it

  5. i got the gearbox rebuilt at the same time as the chains/clutch as the gearbox has to be removed so its a single cost labour job,

at the same time i got a peloquin limited slip fitted and 3.6 final drive makes so much difference: grip - cornering - more effective rev range

  6. spending money not making it B?? you need a doctor  sounds good man its g-werks next weekend but i think there will still be a turnout in mk

:) yeah bill going to give the rado some treats now its about time

by the way where did you get your rear strut brace from

i'll add that to the list too

    Bally

nice one i will be there give it a good run

  7. Started to work on some performance mods heres an update so far...

Full gearbox rebuild and 3.6 final drive along with peloquin diff

At the same time had the chains and head work and fitted vt mounts

Serviced at 118802, last service was in sep2005 on 114545

Had a good run home puts the power down alot better and can launch the car from the lights and grips into corners even better - mounts have made the acceleration alot smooth under load

The cars in good shape to throw some more power at it now

Added a couple of pics too :)

  8. I'd say 5-8mm more offset and it'd be fine. Might be OK anyway. I like mine sticking out a bit more!

How would you achieve that extra 5-8mm ????

    Marcus

im running 8x17 with et38, so with et27 those wheels would sit 11mm further out than mine

the lower the ET the further out the wheels sit,

this website will calculate the difference between your current wheels and the ones your looking at
