Darren how is the intercooler kit coming along ? Will Ant (bananaman) be having a demonstrator intercooler in his car for corrado day if he is representing you there ? 8)

They all seem genuine guys at Awsome and Dubbers through and through. I wanted a parcel shelf for my Golf they didn't have one but one of the guys there had one for sale and they dealt with it for me and sent it next day. 8)

I've got a Scorpion system and a Motex decat pipe. Thing is it sets off my mates car alarm when I park next to it (burble of exhaust sets off volumetric alarms) :D

I have a grey leather interior and am thinking of getting a Momo Silverjet steering wheel. Will it all be too light in colour or will it be just right. My mate who owns the Carnoisseur branch in Bedford is getting me one in to see how it looks in the car.

My suspension height Original : f - 653mm r - 608mm After : f - 577mm r - 589mm Lowered f - 76mm r - 19mm I think my original shocks were knackered. I am using Koni coilovers and very pleased with them :D

have you got any photo's of the dials in the dark (lights on obviously) how clear are they?

Premier dials look very nice are they easy to fit??

130k but not putting loads on from this year.Got a mk2 golf gti with 131k as a car to get to work in using the C on days off / cruising / shows. Who am I kidding as soon as I get my car back from the bodyshop will probably use it all the time again.

The wheels look like BK299's good choice (same as ones on my motor 8) )

All too much trouble for me ...Being one for the easy life I bought a kit from trimsport and fitted that. Sod the expense make it easy on yourself.

Just been talking to Auto acoustics http://www.autoacoustics.co.uk/home.htm They would tool up and make/market stealth boxes for both sides of the boot if there was a concrete amount of buyers (10ppl for both sides - or - 18to20 ppl for one side) They are very well made and would be of a professional standard. I have already offered my car as template and have a contact name there. We would need -enough genuine intrest with the money at least in deposit form -time for development Prices are £149-95 for one side or £249 for both sides. This is cheap as I enquired about a one off from a pro in car installer and ball park figure was £350 for one side. :shock: I am not affiliated to this company at all and just enquired for own needs. The chap I spoke too seemed genuine enough and said development costs were £2k so thats why he needed so many original orders. Not sure how to continue with this ( possibly group buy ) but how to go about it not sure. Reply to this post any thoughts etc...

After looking at a few and more importantly checking insurance quotes :shock: I went for a 8v gti 5door (for practicality) F reg with big bumpers alloys etc might post up a picture at some point. Needs only a few cosmetic bits and pieces. Bodywork good (usual rusty spots) . In need of the proper interior though ! I am putting my old Corrado one in there because it is better than the tweedy CL type interior put in there by previous owner. I seriously need new door cards etc (Black or leather) or possibly all seats etc out of 16v Golf. The main thing is that the car runs very nice not sure on top speed as speedo stops at 120 and needle bends (end of clock).

Hi, A question for those with experience in golfs as well as corrados. Just bought a Golf mk2 as a runabout and decided to put my old Corrado interior into it. Front seats fit fine same fitment etc. Have seen this in a few Golfs but not sure how to affix the rear Corrado seat into the golf i assume extending thebolt that the seat catch goes into is one thing to do. Is there an online guide ?

how much are a set of red tops and where do you get them from and how hard to fit / set up ? ? ? ? :?:

Can you supply pictures of the work in progress? What 6 speed box is it (golf 4? Seat Leon?) Interested in the whole 6 speed box thing, improved ratios etc.

The first post in this topic does say part numbers etc but did not have part numbers (if required) for the braided hoses shown in the photo later in this thread. Are they required for this fitment or do the standard hoses fit ok ? Was looking into this a little bit and a mate of mine is a member of the seat cupranet forum and sent me a link for a similar thread on there. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthr ... 54&highlig Because all the parts are Seat based not sure if they need the extra hosing or it is because the brembo's themselves need extra. Darren help us out here are the hoses in the photo you posted needed as part of this conversion , if so how much are they ?
