The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
stuarttaylor37 replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
Took my family out in the VR for a 130 mile drive around some A roads of Staffs/Derbys-Loved every minute of it, easily the best day I've had in it since I bought it. Stopped for tea in a country pub. Now,I might be biased but mine was the nicest car in the carpark until a Lambo LPS 700-4 turned up.... What an awesome machine that is! And then cleaned it -

AA have always given me good service....recently had breakdown on a 22 year old v-twin two stroke bike due to a broken 2 into 1 throttle cable . I thought they'd just chuck it in a van and take me home but the guy fiddled and faffed and made up a new throttle cable by the roadside. Not difficult I know but quality! Only gripe for me would be their call centre staff are not always very reliable

Yes I checked the coolant-no oil there at all I had a golf mark 3 1.8 8v before and that never used any oil even at 130,000, that's why I was complacent on checking this one
-
Had it about 6 months/4000miles (ashamed to say I've never checked the oil level in that time) Cars only done 72,000 I'll get it serviced and see what happens
