    I wouldnt order the topran one, I found it didnt fit properly and others have found the same. It was difficult to locate in the block despite meticulous cleaning and lubing on entry (?). I only found out once reassembled that it was leaking and had to do it all again. I then fitted a metal one which fitted and sealed as it should

    Yes I remember it was louder generally but as Sean says louder all the time, and was just plain annoying if at steady speed whereas the BMC can be driven quietly if you want to but still sounds mean if you give it the beans

    I found the K and N loud all the time, it was a bit too hooligan for my liking and soon got annoying, the CDA is nice and subtle unless you want it to get loud

    Maybe its just me then! Probably because I use it daily....I do find it a bit distracting, I can see the reflection from the switch in the drivers door mirror as well. Its no major biggie and wouldn't stop me buying a couple more as spares.

    Hi Chris Is jot sherry not sherry? I have three spare rust free ones already....I'm just hoping to find one in colour to save having one painted, so don't mind travelling if condition is good. Do you have a late mirror switch by any chance?

    They look good (although may well make the indicators then look very tired!) and seem easy to fit rather than grinding glass on the BMW fogglight option but was just wondering if they would allow the foglights to be used rather than cracking the glass or melting?

    Anyone bought any of the Karmann ski replacement foglight lenses and got any feedback? I wondered if they would discolour the plastic or melt the plastic with the heat of the foglight bulbs? Thanks
