Yeh, i'm bit reluctant to go to any valencing companies. I took a previous car to them (my P&J at the time FTO) and they did a shite job and charged me £75. I was thinking more of something off the shelf that actually works.

To enable me to transform my C into the car of my dreams (owning one is 90% fufilling it) I have got to sell my other car. If anybody knows anyone who is interested send me an email mailto:[email protected] I know I know its a rover but it a coupe and it's in immaculate low mileage condition.

The previous owner of the C I have was what seems like a chain smoker. I've tried Fabreeze on all the seat etc but thiss only worked for a couple of hours. Have any of you guys got any ideas on how to get rid of the smell???

Thanks mate your a star! As your so good at part numbers :wink: i've just contacted my local VW dealer to try and order a 'Supercharged' badge. It was pointed out yesterday that my C is now 'upercharged'!!! . VW said that the 'Supercharged' badge is not listed. I'm sure it is a standard badge and not added afterwards. Can you shed any light???? ta

I collected my G60 yesterday...i'm in love! Coming back on the motorway I noticed that the temperature gauge wasn't working. I set the computer thingy to show the oil temp so i could keep an eye on the engine temp. Anybody know what might be the problem? Where is the sender unit located? thanks for your help

I BOUGHT IT!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Check it out. :D It has a Ottiger or something front grill. I'm not sure if I like it. Does anybody know what they are worth?

If the car has a full service history does that mean that the SC would have been changed? Did VW recommend to change the SC in their servicing schedule? :?

Hello all, This is my first post on here so be gentle :wink: I'm currently looking to purchase my first G60. My brother had one a while back and I removed and refitted the supercharger after Jabbasport had done their thing. After bolting back together it went like stink! Sorry getting side tracked, the reason for the post is that most of the G60's advertised here and there are high mileage (100,000miles and above) and have never had the supercharger reconditioned. Is this going to be a problem? How much is a supercharger rebuild? My brothers rebuild and port came with a new chip is this normal? Thanks for your advice and I hope I haven't sent any of you to sleep :) Lee
