Hi JP 1. 3 over 2- each dip beam has it's own relay, any single relay failure will not result in total darkness. More for safety. 2. Look through the first few pages of the thread and you should see the OEM plugs, it's just the original plug but they are difficult to find and costly. 3. I'm not overly sure but as you need to charge up the ballest capacitor I assume the more power you have the better. Hope that helps, please Pm me if need any more help. I am ordering parts tomorrow and it will take me a week to make the looms. Cheers

Hi Reggit, I think I just sold the last 2 looms and will need to order more parts. I'm away now for 2 weeks but if you PM me over the next week I will get back you and let you know when I can make you one. Shouldn't take more than a week once I get back. All I'll be back on the 2ND of October but please feel free to PM with your Questions or orders. Cheers Zak

Hi C488ADO I have sent you a PM. I have a few in the go at the mo. Griffgrease you could try a small enclosure from cpc: http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/search/resul ... 11+1002322 Try this link and look through. you'll need to measure the size of the relay housing etc and cut a hole in it but there may be some thing there you could use. Hope that helps

Yeah, I've PM'd you about that. I'm looking into new relays for these looms but they are all alot more and would push the price of the loom up even more. I would recommend trying to put them in a dry place, if there is one or trying to waterproof them. I know this sounds like something I should be doing. Hopefully I will find some new relays soon. In the mean time I will get some self vulcanising tape and put that roung the cap on the relay. ian and oz you have PM

VR6Pete and ozowen, you have PM. I still have these available for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jay23Sx is correct and thanks for the reply I don't get on here as often as I used to. The looms make a massive difference even with the lights you have fitted now. Some people change the bulbs and the headlight lenses which is a good thing but the loom will be the only thing that will ensure you get the full 12volts at the headlight plug. I have just started a new batch of these and will have about 3 spare, so if you or any one else is after one now is the time to PM me. I make to order and will only start once I have an order for 5 but like I have 3 spare. Cheers and hope that helps. please make sure your lights are crap before you order one though (most are) as I hate to see folk waste good money. Also maybe check your car doesn't have one fitted already if the car is new to you.

Hi folks, As I've been away and had a few beers, my mind is not clear as to who wants a loom. If you could please re-PM me with your requirements then I will get on with the job and post out some looms. Cheers

I've got the parts now to make the looms. If you could PM me with your orders I will be happy to try and squeeze some money out of you. I hope to have the looms made by early next week. The 3 relay looms will be £62 posted or £65 if you want to paypal the money to me. Cheers Zak

Hi Philmo, 4 relays is unsightly but if that's what you want I'll make it!!!!!!!!If you loose the main beam relay it's not the end of the world, you can drive on dip. I don't use solid state relays as I need to keep the loom as cheap as possible. I wouldn'y like to start loading the price up. I had a spell of siliconing the relays up but it takes ages and I don't make much money on the looms as it is, so time is a factor. You can silicon them up when you get the loom. Hope that helps. Please feel free to ask questions but some will have been answered before in the thread. Cheers

Hi there folks. Sorry for not replying to this thread but I've been on a some courses etc..... I have ordered some gear and hope to have some made up in the next few weeks. They will be £62 posted for the 3 relay looms. On the first few pages there should be some info an the differences between the 2 and 3 relay looms but I have only made 3 relay looms recently. Most people choose the 3 relay loom. Cheers

Hi Sean I'm gonna order up a small amount of parts as there are 4 people now interested. i will try and get these made by the end of the month. Please feel free to pester me about them as often as you like, my memory is fading and I have alot of real work on at the minute. The plug numbers are available somewhere in this thread. You could as the dealer if they are fitted to anything else. Did you look at ARZ in Germany? they have them, again not cheap. The price will be £60 standard or £68 if you supply the plugs. (the terminals for the plug cost a fortune).
-
Not heard from the other folk yet but I will keep you informed. Oh and the price won't be £100.
