Yeah ill come along too, ive just bought a 1.8 16v too! ill b putn up pics soon. take it Ure in Glasgow bob? Its running on sum anthracite 16in monzas(goes well with the red!) But as far as the engine goes im just drilling the airbox and an exhaust system and concentrating on coilovers and brakes. Its expensive to get big horse power out of the 16V so cheaper to concentrate on the brakes and suspension so the power Uve got can be used efficiently!

How come you can get an induction kit for the mk2 1.8 16V golf then? or can U? :oops: So overall the bast thing to do for a 16v is a drilled airbox and k&n panel air filter yeah?

Wile we are on the issue of the mk2 16V engine being the same as the corrado, does this mean that an exhaust systems from a mk2 will fit a corrado?or is it a different design yeah?

Going to see a mint corrado in glasgow 2moz, however the guy said that the spoiler dont work. Been looking through the forum and everything leads to fuses or wrong wiring, but what about the motor or sumthing like that? Or is it simply just a fuse or wiring? Has anyone had expensive probs with the spoiler?

What about venom motorsports goldine coilover kit? is £340 too cheap?

Carbon Fibres are now being coloured in the US, Looks really good but expensive! Theres a company doing saxo,106 carbonfibre bonnets for around £400 for the grannymobile racers, then they'l chuck on there £10 led washer jets! :roll:

As im looking for a corrado rite now, I have seen a few with little or no mot. I was just wondering if the experienced corrado owners could tell me whats the worse a corrado can fail on in its mot? Steering rack,etc? Has there been any nightmare failures? Any Info would help! thanx

Hi there folks, been loking for a corrado for the last 3 months and thay have all been for sale 300 miles away! So when one was for sale in the autotrader 80 miles away within my budget i was drivn down to newcastle the next day! Spoke to the guy selling it and it sounded really good! Neway on the way down we got lost not once but twice, i could/should blame my gf but it was my fault! We lost bout 15 mins but got to the guys house and we were 10 mins too late! He sold the car and they were signing the papers! Absolultely GUTTED! Overall 200 miles wasted! PLEZ tell me this isnt a sign for me not getting a corrado! ps This site has been a great help! The buying guide is brilliant!
