the car will need a certain colour base coat for the flip paint to take effect,and price depends on where you go,i got quoted £500 to have my old golf respayed,and it would of been a good job done aswell

the same happened to me a few times,but on the passenger door,all i did was remove the handles,had a fiddle around(ooer_and then it closed

check cylinder no1,as its common on the vr6,no1 and 6 go first,that plug looks exactly like the one i took out of mine..nothing to do with pinking,thats oil build up!!

just take the grill out and pull on the cables,takes a couple of seconds

looks like your valve stem seals have gone,or the piston rings have gone,mine looked exactly the same

just think of the price saving :wink:

best bet would be to go to halfords have a look at the one with everything you need,then go online and find the same for a fraction of the halfords price tag

im pretty much in the same boat,ive got leather seats,but trying to get hold of late leather door cards is a nightmare,even more so if you have got beige leather,think my best option is to get my door cards retrimmed in leather

bottom ball joint or it could even be an engine mount,does it happen more when your turning at all?

try dissconecting the 5th injector to see if that helps,i had the same problem on my brothers 16v,and is was down to the 5th injector being stuck on -
