i would check back through the cars servicing records to see what oil has been used,the dealers always used shell helix in mine and when i changed to synta the engine used loads of oil so i quickly changed back to shell helix,just because vag supply it dont mean they use it :)

vw dont sell the loom any more,think they just sell the connectors

oh right,if its just for the tilt and the up and down then you can make your own,there was only 2 wires on mine,one live and the other earth

deffinetly buy new,my mate works for partco and sell refurbed starter motors and they call them boomerangs because they keep coming back :lol:

i think it came all in one for the heated seat loom,i ended up paying £15 for a 2nd hand loom which i still havent fitted yet

when i priced a loom for my heated recaros at the dealers they were well over £100 :shock:

i paid £180 for my bonnet sprayed and the rear quarter panel,so thats not a bad price,not everyplace charges stealer prices :)

i think the general opinion of the g60 owners is to stick with the original airbox,and route a cold air pipe into it
