Shot in the dark but... I'm looking for a GT82TXC (GREEN LED) alarm/immobilisor Fob - for a GT Auto Alarm. Alternatively, an old GT482/GT82N one - they've been discontinued and mine is falling apart. Cheers

    Haters!!!

Oh yeah, no point in getting injured in any way. I gave all that up at college. I wouldnt buy a merc or BM new nowadays. Not because of the build or engineering tho. Its becuase they are common as muck - to quote a phrase. Not that i care if friends have one - as long as they are happy and dont drive like t*ssers. which some do! I also wouldnt buy a new audi ... yeah, i said it. But what do these cars have in common? Retina burning headlights and nobby drivers. i ca be rude when i'm sat behind a keyboard. But there is a silver lining ... I was in Brighton the other day and my wife stopped at a T junction so i could leg it out and grab my phone out the boot. Just as i was closing the boot a guy in his late 30's/early 40's walked past and said these words: "Volkswagon Corrado, what a classic. Brilliant". I, of course had pride laced thru my veins and kept it cool (whilst beaming) and said, "I know, beautiful isnt she?" (sounding more grateful than arrogant). He replied, "oh yeah. Blackberry, nice (NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING IN BRIGHTON!). 16 valve too - best one of the lot." I didnt have the heart to correct him on that last point! Because no other car existed but me and my corrado in that moment. needless to say, on the 20min drive home i had what i can only describe as a 'Corrado Bona'. hmmmmm :elephant: :awesome:
  8. Dave, PM and money sent Thank you. Jon
  9. thats what i meant! only joking! im showing my ignorance in true style. shall give u a call in the week. Thanks John
  10. Sorry, I meant the sender on the top back of the block that gets the rad fan moving ... at least i think thats wot it does! and the oil sensors in front of the block (not attached to it) ---------- Post added at 12:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:15 AM ---------- No, i dont see it as a put down or unwillingness. its most helpful. i'm not too savvy on the best retailers but iv also seen a lot of 'For sale' ads where people have bought new or newish and are willing to sell. just trying to save a few bob! I also dont know what they r officially called so searching online is a bit of a prob for me! thank you tho - much appreciated.
  11. thanks very much. just to check - it is passenger side? if so will be happy to paypal
  12. In full working, non leaking, order if possible please!
  13. I've seen plenty of photos on the forum where people have really nice engine bays e.g. black or silver and shiney covers with lots of sparkle! how can i acheive that - i cant find any info anywhere? thx
  14. Hi All. Sorry, been a bit post happy of late! In sourcing part I've become confused! It doesnt take alot. I was looking at parts on europarts today (lambda, clutch kit, CAT, etc) and the prices seem to vary greatly - but i cant see why. how do you know if a part is good value for money? Surely it cant just be more expensive = better. any thoughts to help save the wallet and car would be appreciated.
  15. So I hear! Man I'm jealous! Must be nice to be out of leeds too, eh? ;) I hear your breaking your corrado? I hope you realise that everytime a corrado is broken a cat gets blended?! ... Thats the only good that comes of it! One less corrado makes the world a darker place. Having said that, it sounds like you've got some cool plans. There's 3 of us in worthing now - surely thats got to be some sort of record. Wins the 'Highest Concentration of Corrados In one Area Award'!
  16. the serious discount was more of a joke tbh. not a good joke, granted! what price were u thinking?

    Rear Lights

    thx all. v helpful
  18. What do you mean by nugget? ... I think i might have one
  19. It may have been done on here but ... Is it me or do people dislike Corrados and Corrado drivers?! I've only owned my dream car for 2 weeks and the amount of people up my @rs3 makes me feel like I've done some awful crime! People seem to hate corrado drivers. I thought when i got the car there would be an epidemic of neck injuries from people nodding in appreciation as i rolled by. Oh no my friends ... all i feel is derision! I've checked the records, there's been no increase of eye injuries or people squinting and thinking, "my word ... he could satisfy my wife/girlfriend/partner/husband/boyfriend". No-one I have noticed has fainted due to the lack of blood flow to their brain after they get an immediate erection at the sight of my purple "machine". And women don't do what they shouldn't do at the sight of my purple C. I even got a smirk from a pre-pubescent teenager the other day ... probably cos he thinks vauxhall corsa's are the thing to have. PRICK. WHY DON'T PEOPLE APPRECIATE THE CORRADO? WHY CANT THEY SEE THE PERFECTION? WHERE IS MY MEDICATION? MOTHER ... hold me!!! Anyway ... What's your story?

    Rear Lights

iv had tailgaters on most journeys to work - mostly bmw, audi and merc drivers! (audi's + bm's are the worst ... as r their stupidly bright headlights. wots with that?!) wots the deal with that?! jealous i expect. . . actually they r probably in Sales or Property or Banking! oh the stereotypes! 2 days ago someone went past on the dual carriage way signing 'w@nk3r' - its weird! i did nothing to provoke him either. i literally couldnt believe it. i phoned him up later and said, "dad, why are you doing this?" (only joking, it wasnt my dad but it did happen). Cue new thread!

    Clutch wear ?

Personally, and i know almost nothing, I'd ask a specialist garage. JMR knows his stuff and is so friendly i think he'd tell you over the phone. heres the link: http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk/ He's brilliant
  22. I'm really assuming people have made a mod/cross over and might want to sell me their decent (not dodgy or non fire proof) looms at a seriously discounted price!
