Thank you Jim. I remember breaking a few on my Golf, so was worried same thing was going to happen with the Corrado.

Push comes to shove I can take my car off the road and send you my shifter to get it modified. I'm in no rush though, so no worries Dave.

I am thinking of upgrading pretty much all the exterior lights to LED. I've check the sizes on Autobulbsdirect but not sure if I can trust what sizes they are specifying, so thought I'd check here. Could anyone confirm if these are correct: Fog - H3 Sidelight - 233 Front indicator - 382 Rear indicator - 382 Stop/Tail light - 380 Rear fog - 382 Reversing - 382 Number plate - 207

I had a search around the forum and found some useful threads on this, such as http://direct.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?41643-How-to-remove-door-cards, but just wanted to find out more information about the clips that hold the cards in. Are there clips all around or are they just at the bottom? Could someone show me which ones to order in case any snap? If there are some other threads that I should be looking at regarding this please link me.

Black Corrado going up Holtspur Lane in Wooburn Green today at around 12:00. Plate ended in VWD or something like that.

Friend of mine at VW replaced the crank bolt today. Suprisingly the washer turned up today and so we fitted the PG engine bolt (6 sided one). Also had the car washed properly, then I used the claybar on it, waxed it and put Rainex on all the windows. Car is nice and shiny now.

All sorted now. Please lock topic.

In car heaven Nice one. How long have you had it?
-
Hahahah that's awesome! Had same thing with my first car, a P reg Fiesta, bloke down the road had same reg just 5 numbers up. What model is yours?
-
Thanks Neil. The part number for the bolt I have is N 040 106 4 Here is what it looks like: Can you tell which one that is and if I need a washer for it?
-
Would you guys recommend getting a new washer as well as the bolt? Or would it be ok to reuse the washer? Can't seem to find the bleeding thing at any supplier!

The car went in for a service yesterday at VW and came back with a bunch of issues, mostly small but some a bit scary. Here is a quick list: Crank bolt rusted One of the front wheel bearings is a bit rough Both front bushes need replacing Front disks and pads need changing They tried to change the crank bolt but the washer is out of stock everywhere (apart from Liverpool - see my other thread in General section) so I have the bolt for now. So today I ordered: Front wheel bearing Both front suspension arms Upgraded Aero front window wipers Pagid front discs and pads (came with the car from previous owner :D) Also going to change the accelerator cable soon as the current one isn't lubricated well. Going to be a fun week.

I need a favour from someone in the Liverpool area. TPS Liverpool are the only ones in the country that have a washer I need for my crank bolt, but they do not post out or transfer to other depots. Part costs £4 and I don't fancy a 200 mile drive just for a washer. Anyone able to pick this part up and post it to me?

I keep leaving my lights on,!!! Help me Out.
Yega replied to Michael'durham''s topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Glad its not just me then, I left the lights on every time I got out of the car on the Sunday I got it. Luckily I've been driving at night since so its quite obvious that the lights are on, but during daytime its easy to forget! -
During the service yesterday my accelerator cable was removed and turns out there is not much lubrication going on inside so it will be getting replaced.
