Went to the MPH03 show in earls court earlier this year and got chance to have a good butchers at the new Evo 8 FQ330 :twisted: ... noticed it has the sweetest carbon front splitter ever, any one know of a company making these for the C? :twisted:

My VR6 does make a nice poppin noise when engine braking after a hard charge.. unfortunately none of my mates seem 2 b able to get close enough to check if there's flames too :lol:

Just had a sigma M30 installed, definitely does the windows, supposed 2 do the sunroof, but as my roof is buggered I couldn't really comment on that yet! They used the car's standard full closure system and connected the alarm 2 it I believe

It has a sony CD head unit, dunno if its VW spec or after market so I really wouldn't know........ I've taken the beast up2 a respectable 120mph and the spoiler definitely didn't pop up.. I'm pretty sure VW didn't design it 2 only pop up at that speed! :wink: Also on the subject of stereos, can any1 recommend a good set of speakers that fit in the original holes?

Just had me VR6 a week now and I've noticed the spoiler only pops up when using the manual button... isn't it supposed 2 start lifting at 45mph?? Cheers

Thats the 1... heard only great things about them in the past, admittedly not for the C, was wondering if any1 had ever fitted 1 or knew if they existed for the C

evening, I remember looking at these chips for a 306 Rallye, called Dastac I believe (made in south africa or something), everybody that used them raved about them.. anyone had 1 fitted to their C? Also, stoooopid question, but (and its a big but BUUTTTT), any1 every tried 2 develop a 24v head for the VR?

but do any of you remember the Madza 787B Le mans car? Had 4 rotors and a few turbos I believe... and something like a reliable 800bhp!!! Then there's also the incredibly RX7 triple rotor, limited anniversary edition only originally intended for japan.. somewhere on the net there's a movie of 1 flipping over at 200mph..... its impressive

would 17" with a 35offset fit over the leon discs? Offset always baffles me

Right..... just done some further research, the ibiza discs are 305mm, the leon ones appear to be 288mm(?!) and the golf 4motion ones are 312mm... doesn't really help does it!

just reading up and the ibiza discs appear to be significantly smaller than the leon's.... hmmm I'd guess they're not interchangeable

I wouldn't know about caliper mounts to be honest.. I heard you just used the leon/ibiza mounts and they fitted straight on.... I think there are issues with the offset... I think you have to run 35-38mm or something ... offset is still a bit alien 2 me, used to own a Nova after all!
