  1. front top mounts, they should come with the bearings also, would be a good idea as you have to remove them anyway, so may aswell change them
  2. disconnect the battery over a night then reconnect in the morning, if theres no fault in the system that should turn the light off mate
  3. Its against the law to remove an abs system from a car that was fitted with it from standard, and an mot test station should fail it on an mot, i know we do at our test station as it is a clear fail, better to investigate the fault mate
  4. wire a live from your ignition to your lights, so as soon as you put your ignition on your lights come on, and when your key is out the go off, nothing wrong with that, like a nice audi then :)
  5. I tried my local main dealer and they said discontinued :(
  6. I didnt ask anyone, just done it haha But when you work in a garage theres far more health and saftey risks then a chair!

  13. I didnt mean to offend him in any way, he did just seem a bit sharp with me straight off, and im a bit defensive as you can see haha. I just wondered if anyone else had done it for any tips, then got loads of people telling me it wont work and not to bother trying etc, where as how i look at it is anything can work, no matter how hard or what i have to do, if i want them to fit then i will. I read about a bloke who got some 9s on the front and 10s on the back, so i can get 7s and 9s im sure, thanks for your help anyway mate.
  14. 20mm a side on the front so that will be fine with the steering, and as long as it passes a mot then its safe, and i accepted all the comments which were helpful, thanks for your input anyway mate :) ---------- Post added at 3:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:38 PM ---------- As i have had many vws over the years i have learnt many things the hard way, but always ended up the way i wanted. which is what customizing is all about, as a fully qualified mechanic, i know they will fit eventually :) sorry if i have offended you in anyway, that wasnt my aim, you seem a genuine bloke, thanks for your tips and that mate :)
  15. Anyone have a gear knob then?
  16. He didnt give me any advice, just negativity. ---------- Post added at 11:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:24 AM ---------- Thanks for your input mate, looking forward to my adapters getting here so i can try them on :)
  17. Never assume mate, 20mm on the front, and either 40 or 50s a side on the back, if I was any less I would rub my coilovers
  18. They will work thanks mate, iv done a lot or research, tried the wheels on with made up adapters, etc. with the arches rolled they will work, il show you when it's done. If you've had "8 corrados in 8 years" then I would have thought you would be a person who pushes boundaries, obviously your too scared too.. ---------- Post added at 8:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:23 AM ---------- Cheers for the pic mate, obviously it is possible then...
