  1. I bet you cant stop looking at it! Its the type of thing you have to put in the living room while your watching tv, and every now and again turn it around so you can see the other side! (I know........I'm sad like that)
  2. Thanks very much, the sites all our own work too. I know its not amazing but as long as it works well, looks professional and trustworthy then that’s all it needs to be at present. Still not to sure about the name ourselves, but until we think of something better than it'll have to do.
  3. Wooooow, its come out really nice! Just keep it on your coffee table for a week, I would.
  4. SamG60 and I have been working on starting this tool business for about 6 months now and we have finally turned the website on properly today! There only about 100 of the 25,000 products available on there at the moment. We will be adding the Sykes-Pickavant range by this coming weekend. Then hopefully not long after, the Britool range followed by the Draper range and finally the Facom and Beta ranges. We would like to offer Corrado forum members a 5 to 10% discount in the future. But at the moment the functionality just isn’t there within the site. We will have to add a discount code function to the site or something. If anyone really wants something and wants to get a discount they could phone us and we’ll take your order over the phone instead. http://www.shacktools.com (link in my sig) Take a look and tell us what you think?
  5. I was born in Shrewsbury. I'm in Anglesey at the moment. But my dad lives in Oswestry so I'm down near Shrewsbury a fair bit. Good skateboard ramps in Shrewsbury!
  6. Bling.....bling! I'm looking forward to seeing this box at a show, finished with all the bolts etc. Lee could you ask your chroming people if they could chrome a g-lader, its made of magnesium alloy I think.
  7. No probs, Sam. Missed your call this morning. I'll give you a ring in a bit mate.
  8. Sorry for not replying sooner. I think my mates (previous page) where 8.5 front and 9 rear or it could have been 8 front and 8.5 rear. 195 tyres all around for that streched look. Its is also lowered quite a lot on coilovers so not sure quite how much of a drop. Was slamed then raised untill it didnt rub.........much!
  9. Show us a picture of the whole car. So we can see its new stance. I reckon it going to be SWEEEEEET!
  10. Get uum! They'll look mint! Here's a picture of my mates Rado with a set on.
  11. Gazza, why's there a Scuby engine in the post above?
  12. It cant go anywhere, untill I get my new charger fitted!
  13. It depends if the airbag has deployed or not. Leather front seats for £250 sounds good to me.
  14.    It’s worth a go though; if you've got a big enough hammer!! Definitely fitting an 02A box to the mk1. So, does anyone now about suitable drive shafts for 100mm flanges on a mk1? Mk1 cabrio drive shafts?
  15. It’s for someone’s mk1 conversion, which I'm not doing and don’t know anything about. Apparently, so I’ve read on clubgti forum, you can fit mk1 cabriole drive shafts which have 100mm inner cv’s. What do you think? I was just wondering if the shafts/trunions in the 020 diff can be fitted into the 02A diff. Don’t want to strip down an 020 just to check if someone can confirm my suspicions that I’d be wasting my time first. Kev, the springs aren’t really a problem. It’s the male/female fitment that’s making it look impossible.
  16. Totally different aren’t they? I can’t see any way that it can be done, unless you can fit a 020 diff to a 02A box. Which I think is unlikely. (I know the above diff's are pelequin but you get the idea)
  17. I'm in the middle of fitting a 4.25 final drive to a 02a gearbox and was going to see if I could fit some 90mm 020 flanges to it. I've been told its possible but now I've looked at it I cant see how it can be possible without using an 020 diff in the 02A box. Anyone know if it can be done? I've attached some pictures to illustrate the problem. Read the captions.
  18. When replacing the rubber brake lines the metal lines and bolts they attach to can snap if you’re unlucky. If anything does snap the job gets a lot more time consuming. Think that’s what he means by the bolts snapping. If you got all that work on the previous page done, then your onto a sorted garage. As long has his works up to standard. ;-) :-)
  19. Cool. I'll go see it at Ben tonight then. Don’t worry, next time I go I'll have ShackTools.com stickers everywhere on my car and person, maybe even a tattoo! (Sorry for post hijack)
  20. I havent seen it yet, I do remember doing it though. woops   Didnt think that'd make it into the final cut. I'll see it when Ben's arrives.
  21. If its £200 for a service then there off there heads! It cant be!
  22. I like the scuttle panel removed, looks very smooth. I was told on mk1's that it’s removal can affect the rigidity of the car. So maybe consider fitting a strut brace to account for its removal. After all with the power you’re going to have, handlings got to be spot on!
